These bags used to be great! Easy to close and stayed close, but not anymore. These bags are almost impossible to close, I work a good 5 minutes trying to get completely closed. The zipper is terrible and I'm honestly disappointed in Ziploc with these bags. I don't care if they've got easy open tabs, I just want them to close and stay closed! Once I'm done with this box I'm not buying anymore. These used to be my number one bags but if they can't close then I think it's time to move on.

The new tab seal bags are a thinner density but they simply won't seal! This happens on all the tab seal products. I am tuck with several boxes. There was nothing wrong with the old original bags so please bring them back. I won't buy any more of your products. Everyone I know says the same thing.

Purchased the club size in both the sandwich size and quart size. Our family made an honest attempt to make these work but the new zipper closure is very difficult to close, to the point of frustration. Often items stored are not kept fresh as the bags either weren't closed when assumed they were or they came open prematurely. We absolutely loved the previous design and beg for its return or we will probably switch to a bargain brand. Sad, loyal customer.

Great product for a great price. I use these for everything from packing lunch, snacks, storage for produce in fridge, and a great way to store screws for bed railings when moving. You can tape the bag right to the bed and it's ready when you put the furniture back together.

Nice to get an item that wasn't in a box 5 times bigger than product...Serious stock holder that knows Wal-Mart drives cost down and passes savings to consumers..Most orders i receive are swimming in a large box...Must be an opportunity because size of packaging comes up...Don't feel comments along this line with added cost are ever addressed since it is ongoing

I bought my first box of these mainly because I use lots of sandwich bags, not so much for sandwiches but for little bits and pieces of leftover onion, peppers, and portion bags of snacks for my grandsons. Also my husband has trouble with arthritis in his hands so I thought the easy open would be great. Well......they are ok for easier opening but very hard to close. I probably won't buy them again.

The box indicates easy open tabs but it doesn't indicate " never able to close " This products is pitiful 5 family members in a row tried closing several bags to no avail wish I'd didn't buy 2 boxes thought maybe the first was a defect nope second box is just as bad .... Talk w friends same feelings poor product might be switch to the other brand

Seriously! It's no joke. Your new and improved products are terrible. First, you changed the snap-n-seal food storage containers using thin plastic and changed their size. Now you changed the food bags to thin plastic with a ridiculous easy-open tab but changed the type of plastic. Bring back the old plastic with the same thickness we once enjoyed.

Unfortunately, a great product is now very much worse than the original. The main issue is not being able to close the bag -- it will not 'zip'... No time to struggle for 5 minutes trying to close the bag. The 'zip' will not join, or joins partially, and pops open again. Come on, S C Johnson, go back to the original ziploc closure ! Please.

We've been using Ziploc Sandwich bags for years since our sons have started school. We are in the home stretch with both boys in high school now The Sandwich bags we are using are a departure from those we have used previously. When we open the bag, the inner sides stick to each other, making it necessary to separate them by sliding our fingers into the bag to get it open wide enough to load a sandwich, chips, etc. Was this an "improvement" in the product or just a bad batch of bags? If it was a cost-cutting step by SC Johnson, it will backfire with us--instead of cutting cost, it will result in cutting us as customers.
