The bags seem very durable. When the children open the bag all the way, they will not seal shut afterwords. If I accidentally open it up all the way, not thinking and the bag will not seal. Thankfully, not all the bags are like that, or we just refrain from opening them up all the way. We've had to throw out quite a few bags.

I have read the reviews, as I came to the site to comment regarding my experience and let you know that the product is not up to par with Zip Lock quality. I see that I'm not alone in my disappointment. Every time I pull the bag out of the box and open the bag to put something it in, it splits down the sides. I have tried to be very gentle with the product to prevent this from happening. I end up having to throw away an unused zip lock sandwich bag and I'm not impressed. I'd prefer not to switch brands, so I came to the site to see if there was a reason for it or if Zip lock offered another product. I really hope you refer back to your trusted and working design. This plastic you are using is not good quality and the design is not working. Closing and opening the bags are not use friendly. To avoid this all together I am using plastic containers. Please bring back the Zip lock quality sandwich bags!!

I have been purchasing Ziploc gallon and sandwich bags for many years, but that will soon be changing. The "improved" bags WILL NOT close/stay closed. It takes a herculean effort just to close the bags now. They are no longer user-friendly. You need to improve upon your improvement by going back to the old design.

I have used Ziplock products for EVER, and I have always been a big fan. The new "easy open" seal won't stay closed, and the bags are always spilling contents.They are soooooooooo hard to close !!!!!! I don't overfill them!!! I bought a giant box of them, and I would say at least four out of five bags spill open at an unintended time. The worst Ziplock product I've ever had, DON"T buy them !!!!!!!!!!!

These have so many uses. I also put clean re-usable face masks in them after I wash & dry them. They are disposable, but keeps masks clean in storage, purse or car. When they are dirty & you're done using, but not home yet, you can put them back in bag, then empty bag into wash later.

Every once in a while we buy the store brand ziplock bags and always returned to name brand ziploc - because name brand ziploc easily close and open and stay closed. These new 'easy open tabs' ziploc brand bags are impossible to close. I will be looking for another brand or going back to store brand as while those weren't as good, they are much better than the new 'improved' ziploc!

Though the green tab is a nice addition. the actual ziploc does not work.. It is very hard to close especially a second time(if you take out a portion of the contents)I have tried up to 6 times an given up. I am very unhappy with my two boxes, and unless you go back to the previous Ziploc seal I will have to use another brand. They are just too frustrating. They just don't work.

I was provided a free sample of these sandwich bags. I send my kids to school with reusable cloth bags for sandwiches and snacks. I am trying to reduce my use of plastic. However these are great for storing household items or something like raw chicken when you know you need to throw it away after use.

I use a lot of bags and have always been happiest with the Zip-loc brand. This new 'easy' tab version is absolutely terrible? I'm not sure what the 'easy' refers too, because they sure as heck aren't east to close. They do, however, open 'easy' not not because of the tab, but because they are junk. I would not trust these bags with anything breakable, liquid, or having lots of small parts. So disappointing.

The closure on these new bags are terrible! I try and try to be sure they are sealed and when I pull it out of the refrigerator or drawer next, it's not closed and everything is beginning to dry out or whatever. I am 67 years old so I have used these bags for as long as you've made them. No longer! I hate these things!!!
