I have been brand loyal to Ziploc Bags for years. Until now, I have never had any problems. The new style of Ziploc Bags with the easy open tabs leak and tear. They will not hold a seal. I have purchased multiple boxes, thinking it may have been just a few bad bags. It is not just a few, every new style Ziploc Bag with the easy open tabs leak and tear. This used to be a great product. I would not recommend this product to anyone now. In fact I would recommend not buying it at all now.

I have been a loyal Ziploc user for over 35 years and was always pleased with the product until recently. I used Ziploc bags for arts & craft supplies, storage of many other items especially food. I recently noticed that items were going stale within a couple of days whenever I used the snack bags. Cookies and crackers would be stale within a day or 2 as well as vegetables. Also the bags would split open easily at the bottom of the bags. To have to throw away food because it has gone bad makes it very disappointing as I am on a budget. I bought Ziploc because it was a fantastic product but now I have to look for something else. Please fix this problem. I miss the quality please bring it back.

I always buy these when I go to Sam's club. I bring home the meats and divide them out so we can streatch our savings even more. I don't want to spend all day dividing so we don't fool with generic brands. They dont have that easy open and easy to use color changeing feature Ziploc feature. Ziploc saves me time, money and probably my sanity!

I love these bags I use them to store food in fridge and freezer, also use them for odd and end items. If your like me I hate the price of these bags when you buy a box of 20. Very expensive, but shopping at Sam's club, they are very reasonable and you get a box with 152 bags.

These have been my go to bag for everything since they came on the market. A free sample in the mail won my loyalty. Great for protecting food, papers, books, fabrics, tools, meds, storage, travel, crafts, organizing, gardening. A must have with my large aquarium. The quality of the freezer bags has become terrible. I have more failures that successes. When loading the bag very often the ends of the zipper come apart and the bag splits down the side. Will not work for anything with weight such as a book or tools anymore. The plastic is no longer thick enough to freezer meat on bones. The bones do not have to be sharp to poke a hole. Anything rubbing against a bag containing something hard, does not have to be sharp will put a hole in the bag. Sadly I can no longer give 5 stars or recommend Ziploc freezer bags.

I've used Ziploc products for years and have always been happy with them. But the new tab opening is not good. I've used it on a couple of bag sizes, and in each case the tab tears off usually with the first opening. I hope they will listen to all these complaints and go back to the previous zip lock style. I'm giving fairly high ratings to the below questions . . . because a bag will keep me organized, and protect what's inside with the first use . . . but I'm giving a low rating to Easy to Use . . . because it may be "easier" but I don't like the fact that the tab tears off and then is nearly impossible to re-lock the bag. I would recommend Ziploc products in a minute if they would return to the old style of zip lock.

We are thoroughly disappointed in the Ziploc bags we recently purchased: Megapack 60 Freezer Gallon Ziploc bags UPC 25700 70953 (P0510301W0254)! The new double zipper mechanism is a disaster: • it is hard to close; multiple attempts are often needed; • one doesn't feel the seal being formed as one did with the earlier versions of Ziploc bags; • apparently sealed bags are not water-tight as were earlier versions of Ziploc bags; liquid leaks out the end of the new-style zipped portion. The last of these failings means that at least a couple of the tips given on this Ziploc webpage https://ziploc.com/en/recipes/tips-and-tricks/top-tips-for-freezing-food are nonsense. Bags that are not water-tight cannot be used as suggested in tip #1 Fill 'Er Up or for marinating meats as suggested in the section of the page headed "Freezing 101."

As a single working dad, Ziploc bags were a life saver. I marinated many meals ahead of time and placed them in Ziploc bags to freeze. When I got home from work, I popped them out of the freezer, placed them in water to defrost, and I was ready to prepare meals for my children within 30-45 minutes. Since about a year ago, Ziploc bags began leaking. At first, I thought it was me because I didn't seal them well or they got cut in the freezer. But it's the bags. After reading the reviews, its clear there is a production and quality control problem that the manufacturer must know about by now and are pretending they are just it hearing it from us. Ziploc has lost my business.

New is not necessarily better. These bags seem thinner even tho they state freezer on them. I'm not sure they will keep foods fresh as long as the "old" version. I had no problem filling the old non "stand and fill" bags buy simply placing them in a large glass or narrow pitcher to fill. I guess time will tell on these, however the quality doesn't seem as good.

My wife and I are empty-nesters. Preparing meals is often challenging because repetitively cooking only small amounts of food is redundant and time consuming. Cooking larger portions and storing leftovers is commonly the answer. Ziploc bags are the ideal solution for storing leftovers.
