I use these bags to divide bulk purchases into family size portions. Product keeps fresh for at least 6 months. I fill each bag, seal, mark date & item on bottom of bag, and stack in freezer. Helps keep the freezer organized and makes it easier to fit more in the freezer than if I was using hard plastic freezer storage containers.

I use these for EVERYTHING! Probably more than to freeze food! One thing I like to use it for is to slip my large rounded oatmeall/soup/stew bowl inside to reheat or steam whatever in the microwave! Zip it partially, make sure you have moisture in the food or add a touch of fluid/water and nuke it! But not too long, or you'll have a meltdown. Keeps messes to a minimum.

Great bags for freezer storage. I go through these like crazy and this is the best price I've found. With the state of our economy, it's nice to put bargains in the freezer and these bags do a great job of protecting from freezer burn and transfer of content odors, etc.

I couldn’t open the bag bc it was sealed too tight! Had my hand band open it and he had trouble too but finally got it unsealed! Every bag was like that.Must have been a bad batch bc we never had that problem before! Wish Sam would sell Zipper closures.

I would like to congratulate Ziploc on the new design for the freezer bags and sandwich bags. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia and I was having a very difficult time with the old design. The tabs would be very hard for me to open, I could never get an easy grip to open the bags, etc. now, I This is never a problem anymore. I can open the bags really easily, every single time!

I have been using Ziploc freezer bags for years but unfortunately with the new design bags this is about to end. What was the thinking behind the new bags and who tested them? The tabs tear, the seams split and they arethinner than the previous bags. I think Ziploc should go back to the designers for a re-think. I think many consumers will turn to another product . Too bad!!

I have been a loyal Ziploc user for over 35 years and was always pleased with the product until recently. I used Ziploc bags for arts & craft supplies, storage of many other items especially food. I recently noticed that items were going stale within a couple of days whenever I used the snack bags. Cookies and crackers would be stale within a day or 2 as well as vegetables. Also the bags would split open easily at the bottom of the bags. To have to throw away food because it has gone bad makes it very disappointing as I am on a budget. I bought Ziploc because it was a fantastic product but now I have to look for something else. Please fix this problem. I miss the quality please bring it back.

The old ones were excellent quality, the new bags are a lot thinner and easily gets ripped from the zipper end when I open it and I have to move the stuff into a new bag and throw away the old one. If this was intentional so that I will buy more, you guys are sorely mistaken, I have already been buying another brand which seems to be much better quality!

I have used Ziploc bags for many years. The 'new' tab seal is a good design with poor workmanship or a poor design. Most of the time when I unzip the bag, the bag tears just below the seam. Also the bags are very difficult to unzip. they tend to stick together too tight.

I understand the need to improve things in our ever changing world but don't fix what isn't broken! Your freezer bags WERE the best on the market. Then you tried to improve what was already a exceptional product. You didn't need 'blue tabs' for opening. They have only created a bigger more glaring problem that you did not have before. Just stick to a quality bag that closes and seals well. Keep a strong ml and be done. Very disappointed! And in that disappointment comes loss of brand allegiance. DON'T FIX WHAT WAS NOT BROKEN IN THE FIRST PLACE
