We have always liked ziplock bags until the new design. We like to use the gallon bags to store individually wrapped chicken, so we can pull out what we need and leave the rest frozen. With the new design the top of the bag rips open and we can't keep the bags sealed. We will be looking for a new brand to use as a gallon freezer bag. You can not over fill them because the tops will rip off. Worst design ever made.

I am so disappointed in the new "easy open" bags. They tear EVERY time you open them. The bags seem to be thinner also. I usually purcahse a case at a time and am so disappointed in the quality. Big waste. I don't need "easy open", I need "stays sealed".

The old ones were excellent quality, the new bags are a lot thinner and easily gets ripped from the zipper end when I open it and I have to move the stuff into a new bag and throw away the old one. If this was intentional so that I will buy more, you guys are sorely mistaken, I have already been buying another brand which seems to be much better quality!

I have been using Ziploc bags and containers for years. I just purchased the 4 pack(38 bags per box) of Easy open tab Freezer bags. I am ready to throw them away. So far I have only used a few bags but each of them ripped at the top side seam and the easy tab tore off, making it almost impossible to open the bag again. Do not buy this product!

I understand the need to improve things in our ever changing world but don't fix what isn't broken! Your freezer bags WERE the best on the market. Then you tried to improve what was already a exceptional product. You didn't need 'blue tabs' for opening. They have only created a bigger more glaring problem that you did not have before. Just stick to a quality bag that closes and seals well. Keep a strong ml and be done. Very disappointed! And in that disappointment comes loss of brand allegiance. DON'T FIX WHAT WAS NOT BROKEN IN THE FIRST PLACE

I have been a loyal customer for many years because of the quality of these bags. Unfortunately due to the new redesign that will end. Not only are the new bags very thin and plastic feeling they do not seal with any reliability. What brought me to finally post this comment, which I never do, is that fact that I just had to clean up marinade from my refrigerator for the 2nd time due to the faulty design of these bags. I can only guess that this new design is more environmentally friendly and likely lest expensive but if Ziploc does not make a change soon it will lose sales.

These are the-worst-bags-ever! Sealing these bags are a nightmare if you got a lot of bags to seal. Even worse, they tend to rip when opening if they've been in the deep freeze. Ziploc makes a "Slider Bag" version that's much easier to close and doesn't rip. I am befuddled as to why Sam's doesn't carry them.

I hate the new zip lock bags. We bought the gallon size with "easy open" tabs... No, they are not easily opened, and regularly the plastic fails before the seal can be unzipped and the bag opened. Some people may say that's good, but what is the use of bagging something if you cant then get it OUT of the bag??

I have been buying Ziplock at the big box wholesale stores for years. I like that the per bag cost especially when it's on sale is a lot better than the grocery store. The quality is great. Thicker bag means less risk of freezer burn and the double seal is tough enough to handle a full bag of spaghetti sauce even when it's on its side, until i can get it into the freezer.

I use these bags to divide bulk purchases into family size portions. Product keeps fresh for at least 6 months. I fill each bag, seal, mark date & item on bottom of bag, and stack in freezer. Helps keep the freezer organized and makes it easier to fit more in the freezer than if I was using hard plastic freezer storage containers.
