I use them to store me gluten free pasta that I have opened. Works great. Works great to store your opened package of bacon too. I use these bags for just about everything. Regular size documents will fit in them and when bad weather is here they will not get wet. Over all they have many uses and not just for food products.

do not buy easy open gallon storage bags. when take out of fridge will not open ,only tears and then you can throw bag away and get freezer bag to use. called company and they sent me coupon to cover cast of bags, told company , when they fix problem to let me know and I will buy again, but not untili get notified.

Ziploc has changed their product. For the worse. The plastic feels different, you can feel that change right away, which isn't a problem. But when you go to open them, the top of the bag rips off and the zipper stays firmly closed. If you try to open by pulling the bag apart below the zipper, you'll rip a whole in the bag, but the zipper will stay closed. It is worse coming out of the fridge or freezer. Even though I am being very careful, I'd say I'm ripping through a third of them. Perhaps I'll try the freezer gallon size. Maybe, even though more expensive, they'll work better. Meanwhile, I hope Ziploc fixes their problem!

You can put a paper plate of food in these storage bags and seal them nice and tight. At Christmas I make cookies and put them on plates in the gallon storage bags. The cookies stay fresh and are easy to deliver to family and friends with no mess.

these are the worst bags i've ever used. the tab has ripped off the first time i tried to open the bag on 90% of the bags i've tried to use. go back to the zipper, even if it costs a little more.

I bough Storage slider gallon bags, 18 count. Two of them have a brown sticky substance in the upper left corner a little smaller than a dime. No idea what it is. Would appreciate you sending replacements

I was disappointed with this product because they are hard to open and when I was trying to open them the pink part of the opening would rip. The Great Value brand from Walmart worked better.
