Used for about 3 months and lost about 59% of my hair. I wasn't sure if it was related but after seeing my hair stylist, she mentioned there were lawsuits associated with this exact shampoo and hair loss. I'm now seeing a dermatologist and am on medication and specialized shampoo to regrow my hair.

A little backstory…I have really fine hair that is starting to thin around my hairline and has no volume unless I curl or back comb it. I'm really picky with hair products because of that plus I color my hair. I'm not joking when I say this, but I noticed a difference after the first time I used this. My hair had volume that actually lasted. I had lift at the roots and I noticed even more volume when I curled my hair. It didn't mess with my coloring either and has a nice scent. The second time I used it, I still had great results.

Started using this product on the advice of my hairdresser when I had my extensions fitted (weave) This was over 12 months ago and my extensions are still in immaculate condition! I can only put it down to this shampoo combined with the conditioner. Left one star off as I find it doesn't foam too well but thats not an issue, just personal preference

I really like this shampoo from OGX. The scent is so nice and fresh, it stays in my hair for a while after washing. The texture is creamy and feels gentle on the scalp. After using it a few times, my hair feels fuller, smoother, and easier to style. It gives a little bit of volume without drying my ends. The packaging is cute and easy to hold in the shower. For the price, it works really well — honestly, better than some more expensive brands I've tried. Definitely one of my favorite drugstore shampoos for keeping hair healthy and soft

This shampoo does the whole opposite of what it claims to do. My daughter had very thick hair and ever since she started to use this shampoo, her hair has gotten so thin and breaks so much easier. My husband, son and myself noticed that as well, but my daughter was the most affected by it.

This shampoo and conditioner together are a perfect match and very effective with continuous use with strengthing hair strands and with hair growth. The quality is is salon like and leaves your hair feeling smooth soft and silky. It smells amazing and super easy instructions for washing and rinsing I would recommend this 1 million times over.

I was so surprised what a difference this made for my hair! I have long straight hair and not a lot of it. I had been struggling with losing several strands every time I washed my hair, and just felt it was getting thinner by the day. I have been using this for about 2 months now, and the difference is amazing! No more fallout, and my new wet brush also has helped A TON. I have more volume and my hair is getting healthier. Very promising. I'd recommend it!

This is a really good shampoo to thicken hair. It has a most unique scent. It smells powdery yet musky. I didn't like it at first but the scent grew on me as I continued to use the shampoo. It is a strong scent that stays in your hair all day long. My hair feels soft and manageable and definitely more volumized after use.

I bought this recently, Oct 2025 only to find a new formula. Why??? It's thinner, doesn't lather as well, not rich and creamy and leaves hair flatter. The old formula you feel the body coming into your hair. After blowdrying using the new formula hair is less volumised. The hunt for a new shampoo begings I guess. Why do brands do this to stuff that worked. Won't buy it any longer after yrs of using it.

I have used OGX products for many years. They have a great variety and affordable. I like this particular option as it adds shine and softens to my hair. However, it could be a little heavy for some so switching up your hair care every so often helps with that.
