Very sad, you had such a great product, and you changed the ingredients. Before it had the purple in it to help with color-treated hair. Now you put these other peptides in, and it totally dries out my hair, and I have no shine. Do you have any the old product left? I can't be the only one complaining..I can't even call you about this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After finishing the whole bottle to give my review, I can say I really like this brand and wish i would have started using it sooner. The bottle seems small and the price seems higher than what it should, but it lasted me a long time and worked great on my hair that usually sits flat. This shampoo provided me a great amount of volume and also smells luxurious. I do feel that I had to use more during one wash but the overall works great leaving my hair smooth and voluminous. Will definitely be purchasing this!

I've been using this shampoo since January and my hair has never been healthier! My hair looks and feels thicker and it smells so fantastic! I use it as directed, shampooing the top half of my hair with the shampoo and leaving conditioner on the bottom half for 3 - 5 minutes. This products also removed a ton of product from my hair, I do pageants so it's not uncommon for me to have half a bottle of hair spray in my hair and this will get all of the product out in one wash. I alternate with this product, B5 shampoo (red bottle) and Vitamin E shampoo (yellow bottle) to ensure that my hair doesn't get used to any of the products and they have the maximum effect. I really don't know how I lived without this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product ended up being being really drying on my hair. I think it is the cleaner/ safer ingredients that were drying for me. It made my hair feel a little like straw… not great. The scent was amazing though, I just don’t think I like the formula.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo is very effective and soft to the hair, the very first ingredient is water and the second one is a soft cleanser sodium methyl cocoyl taurate which is also moisturizing so it won’t dry your hair. The scent is pretty standard not my favorite but it’s ok. It’s a great value for the price and I highly recommended. The texture is pretty thick and it has biotin and collagen placed 5th and 6th in the ingredients list so they have a great amount of those.

I have been using this shampoo for many years, but when I used it yesterday (nearing the end of the bottle) it came out as solid goop and when I put it on my hair it was stuck and did not come off my hair at all. I had to scrape off the goop from my scalp and its still stuck in my hair after washing my hair two times. I'm truly horrified by this experience as I did not expect OGX shampoo to ruin my hair. I'm not sure what happened, it did not lather at all and it's consistency was like jelly that did not melt with water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging is nice the shampoo and conditioner both smell good. In all honesty within just one use this product made my hair really frizzy and dry. My hair has a bit of a wave pattern and this destroyed it completely. Safe to say will be discontinuing use of this product.

I have been using this shampoo for several years and it has been great for thickening my thinning hair. However, I have just had to buy a replacement bottle and used it this morning for the first time. The first thing I noticed was that the shampoo is now clear instead of a shade of purple, then that while it softens my hair it no longer seems to have the thickening effect. I was confused but when checking the bottle (which looks exactly the same as previous bottles) there is a very small addition which says ‘new improved formula’ and the word ‘thickening’ is no longer there. I don’t know why companies feel the need to tamper with winning formulae, but I am very disappointed that my favourite shampoo is no longer.

I bought this shampoo and conditioner in July, in hopes that it would give my hair some much needed volume. I personally did not notice much difference in the apperence of fullness or volume, even after one month of use. However, I started to notice my scalp was developing bumps, similar to acne. Come to find out that’s exactly what it was... Scalp acne, caused by the build up of product. The ingredients used to create the thick appearance of the hair strands also began to build up on my scalp resulting in several pimples. I have since changed shampoo and conditioner and the pimples have dramatically decreased in amount! In turn, validating that the causes was indeed this shampoo and conditioner.
