My old Royal Shredder died after many years of use and didn't want to go with any other brand. Chose this model and after a month have not been disappointed. Love the features.

This Shredder is a Powerhouse... Great for your Home or Small Office... It can Shred 18 Pages at a time and shreds it Effortlessly... Great Shredder !!!

I had a smaller size Royal and it lasted probably 14 years until the gears broke. So I tried Royal again and so far it is as advertised. Quiet, large bin capacity, and able to shred many more sheets than the previous one. So its a workhorse. Only complaint would be the opening slot is not too wide just barely 1/4 wider than a letter size width. So the papers being shredded crunch against the sides but this is just an observation. So I have no reason to give it less than 5 stars.

This is actually the second one of these I have purchased. I destroyed the first one by trying repeatedly to shred WAY too much junk mail at one time. I disassembled it to determine if it was repairable, and it was not. The working mechanism of this machine is quite substantial, and under normal use (not severe abuse like I subjected mine too), this machine should last decades.

This shredder has worked better than I ever expected. After multiple full storage boxes of files being shredded, this shredder just keeps on going. I have yet to have it jam or overheat. The bucket fills rather quickly but the bucket is larger than most other shredders. Just open, pack down and continue. The built-in fan keeps it from overheating which was a huge problem with my last 2 shredders.

I work in an insurance office and we have LOTS of paper to shred! The ofc shredder would overheat with the volume. I have this shredder at home and never had a problem so I suggested it to my boss...needless to say he is happy! Works great and my time is much more efficiently utilized! Highly recommend!

I bought this to replace my 10 year old shreader that would wake the household. This one is smooth, quiet and stronger. Love it.

I love the fact that this shredder has a cooling fan, and has not overheated after hours of shredding papers and old credit cards. The only downside is the bin would fill up quickly. I would buy this product again.

I bought this shredder for our home and I couldn't be happier. It works very well and isn't noisy. It has a nice large paper bin and there is a light that alerts you when it needs to be emptied. Very happy with this purchase.

I don't think it would really take on 18 sheets at a time but, so far it's doing a good job. This is our third shredder. I killed the last two. Hopefully this one will last a bit longer. The only negative is the bin could be bigger.
