Overpriced& definitely not 90/10 probaly morw like 83/17

90% ground beef It’s perfect for healthy eating perfect for slicing for hamburger patties breaking down to 1 pound packages freezing for future use long as they keep the price low. I will continue to keep buying it perfect for stocking my freezer..

This is the second time I've bought this 90/10 big tube of ground beef. I prefer to stoxk up on meat and only have to buy it once a month or so. It's a good deal as far as price. However, there is over twice as much liquid in the skillet when browning this than when browning the 90/10 from other stores or even from the smaller packs of 90/10 in store at Sam's. Plus, there's a lot of white stuff in the tube that you can see, kind of almost marbles throughout the whole big tube. Which obviously looks like fat. So, I have trouble believing this is actually 90/10. I think I'm going to start just buying the smaller packs in store.

For us, this is a couple month’s worth of ground beef. Cut into dinner size portions and freeze. I always make a few with taco seasoning mixed in. When using in a recipe; brown the meat briefly for flavor, but add liquid ingredients when the meat is still mostly pink. The hamburger will be more tender and won’t be as pebbly.

Price again went way up its ground beef leftovers not half of ribeye stake ot sirloin stake just dont understand it should be least expensive option. Plus it has alot of water in it if you leave it to drain fluid you'll end up with 1/3 less weight so you are paying 33% for water.

It seems the weight on the label doesn’t exactly match the weight when portioned. For example, 9 lb package portioned into 1 lbs. I end up with about 8 lbs 10 oz. I zero out the scale to remove the bags from the weight. Maybe my digital scan is off, but hard to believe it’s off by that much.

I feed this to my dogs and while most of the time its great there has been a few times I found huge clumps of white solid fat that was like thrown into the grind and not ground up with the rest of the meat. I would expect that from the lower grade higher fat grind but not this one thus I am only giving 4 stars as its not been in all packages just a couple here and there though I purchase 40 lbs at a time.

90:10? More like 80:10:10 80% meat, 10% silver skin and maybe 10% fat if you’re lucky.

I love that I can get a same day delivery when I decide to make dog food.
