I’ve been buying the Sam’s tubes of 93% ground beef. I’ve noticed that recently they’ve switched to 90%. Tonight I made a meatloaf with 2 lbs of the “90/10” ground beef, and could tell while mixing it that it was very greasy. I pulled the meatloaf out after 45 minutes and drained a half cup of grease off of 2 pounds. No way is this 90%! I’d say it’s a lot closer to 70%. I tried to post a picture but they are “having technical issues” so I couldn’t. Do better Sam’s!

I have exclusively bought ground beef at Sam’s for the past 20 years. Recently I am finding that the ground beef has what feels like tiny rocks in it! They are tiny white rocks. I am assuming these are bones, which is terrible. Sams, please do better.

This is NOT 90/10 I bought in store and used it to meal prep there was tons of fat in the pan after and tons at the bottom of my containers the customer service said this is the first complaint they had about it but after seeing these reviews it’s clear lots of people are noticing this

Had purchased for years due to affordability, but low ratings are now correct! Absolutely not 90/10 due to extra grease and water that must be drained twice. Smell and tastes off to the point I don't find it appetizing. After this happening past two purchases, it's time to move on from purchasing this ground beef!

The first time I bought one of these and got bones I thought it was a fluke. the second time I almost broke my tooth biting on a fragment of bone. Please be careful feeding this to your family, the last thing you need is a emergency dental visit. Also there is quite a bit of gristle.

We've bought the 90/10 twice from Sam's. The first time, it seemed comparable to other stores and was far cheaper to buy in bulk than a pound at a time. Didn't have an issue with quality. Our second roll, however has been a huge disappointment! So many gristly pieces that I'm spitting out as much as I'm consuming. I finally threw away the last three pounds I had in my freezer. I hoped I would get a pound or two that didn't make me want to gag with all the gristle, but it never happened. Never again! I'll spend a little more to have better quality next time. I guess cheap is fine if you don't mind working around the rough gristle you'll find.

We go through one of these a week, in my household. The price of beef was hitting our wallets hard, especially when it’s 90/10. But here comes Sam’s Club for the win again. Thanks to the sheer size, and price, we have stuck with buying this from Sam’s Club for years now.

We typically purchase a 9 lb. package every couple of months and form 1/4 lb. patties that go in the freezer. This gives us flexibility for burgers or using several for ground beef recipes. Flavor is exceptional and the 90% lean results in less waste and healthier eating.

Bought 90/10 to have less fat. It came with large chunks of what I thought was fat thinking it didn’t get blended good enough. Oh well right it still all cooks down and gets drained. WRONG!!! These white pieces are like someone threw tendons in the grinder with it. It is completely gross and will be using it for dog food. Won’t be buying hamburger from Sam’s Club (or Walmart) ever again.

I use this hamburger for jerky. It comes from the dehydrator looking and tasting like Slim Jims. I then cut it to desired lengths and vacuum seal it. I keep it in the freezer until needed, usually Thanksgiving, Christmas, or just family gatherings. Everyone really likes it that way.
