Received Aiden last Friday. Canned profiles for dark, medium and light seem to work well. I took 1 star off because the app is not yet fully functional. It is much more convenient using Aiden than it is doing a manual pour over and the coffee tastes better than we were able to achieve manually.

This was gifted to us for Christmas and it is the BEST coffee maker we have ever used. It gives step by step instructions on how to curate the best brew depending on your roast type. Super nice when I get up early in the morning and can schedule the Aidan to make me a perfect cup as I wake up. If you love good coffee please do yourself a favor and get this machine, it's the highlight of my morning now.

Makes ok coffee - nothing special. It's overly complicated, and requires more clean up than a manual pour over. Ultimately wasn't worth it for me and I returned it and bought an xBloom Studio which makes much better coffee, is far less effort and cleanup is much faster.

This thing makes great coffee but way over engineered. Why in the world would you need a magnetic interlock in the basket. My magnet has fallen out, rendering the machine useless, are you kidding me! If you're not smart enough to put a basket with coffee in to make a pot, good luck!

Not as good as expected. Default screen should be the clock, not “Guided brew”. Took a while to get the water to coffee ratio correctly - recommended amounts of coffee are way high for my taste. Didn't love the first included coffee. For all of its safeguards, it still functions if you accidentally leave the top to the carafe off and step away while it's brewing. A huge mess. It's beautiful tho!

I made about 6 brews before the machine got a little confused and stopped working well? Sometimes some brews continue the countdown without finishing the full brew, leaving me in a weird state of half brewed coffee. Otherwise, when it works, the coffee is delicious and the concept is great!!

I think people love to hate on Fellow, mostly because they're pushing the envelope and elevating the status of nice coffee appliances that don't look terrible. I was one of the early April pre-orders, so yes, waiting 6-months for a product certainly creates an expectation. Outside of the app not working on launch (which like, cmon, you don't need an app to brew coffee) the Aiden show up on time and has been exactly as described. I've been doing a Hario pour-over (along with chemex, etc.) for 10+ years and I truthfully can't find a quality difference in the Aiden's brew. This thing is loaded with customizations for brewing which truly allows you to brew based on your personal taste preference. From a design standpoint, the exterior is primarily plastic and there is one area on my brewer that isn't flush with the rest, but I don't know, I'm here to make coffee not look for a the finest of flaws. If you want the best tasting coffee in the world, don't buy a drip/single cup brewer, but if you want something that's pretty darn close, go for the Aiden. I truly don't think you're going to find a better brewer at this price point.

We are amazed how good our coffee tastes with the Aiden coffee maker. We've been using the pour-over method for many years and decided to try Aiden. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I'm not sure how long the plastic pieces will last.

I ordered my Aiden in April and was so excited to finally receive it! It does not disappoint. It is so easy to use and I love the different options you can select for brewing. I was a little apprehensive with all the instructions. It brews a wonderful cup of coffee. I am also impressed how warm the coffee stays in the carafe. The ONLY reason I am giving it 4 stars is because I have only used it once as of this writing. I think it's probably a 5 star product. I'd also like to say, I love that it takes up less room on my countertop and looks a lot more awesome than my old one.

So I've been using this the last couple days and I'm conflicted. I love fellow products but the display screen is annoying to navigate, the app is not working, and the screen has rebooted twice already. My biggest annoyance is the coffee does not stay hot for a long period of time in the carafe. And there's no heating element to the base of the machine to keep the coffee hot. Honestly I wish I stayed with my moccamaster.
