It finally arrived, actually 2 days before estimated delivery. The packaging was robust and the box containing the Aiden would give Apple a challenge in design. The booklets and electronic display had a great cup of coffee brewed in 5 minutes.

Sleek design and perfect flavor profile. No steam during brew cycle which means it fits underneath my counters too! I also love being able to customize the brew cycle. Delicious tasting coffee too, which is the most important thing of course

Coffee maker works great and is easy to use. Construction is good and it is easy to keep clean. Controls are intuitive for making any size mug and it tells you to the tenth of a gram how much coffee to add to the basket.

So far so good! It's beautiful and makes a solid cup of coffee. I appreciate the precision of measuring grounds and water. The pre-installed instructions based on the beads is extra special. We feel so fancy. We realize we are early adopters of this tech so it's going to be a bit clunky out the gate. However, the hiccups were minor and mainly limited to the software in the coffee maker. I really wish the fluid setting equaled the amount of coffee on the other side of the brew. Since it doesn't we have used trial and error to figure out which setting makes the most sense for us. It was a bit of an annoyance, but the quality of the brew made up for it.

Not as good as expected. Default screen should be the clock, not “Guided brew”. Took a while to get the water to coffee ratio correctly - recommended amounts of coffee are way high for my taste. Didn't love the first included coffee. For all of its safeguards, it still functions if you accidentally leave the top to the carafe off and step away while it's brewing. A huge mess. It's beautiful tho!

I've been committed to V60/origami pourovers but wanted to have an option for larger servings. The Aiden makes delicious coffee! There's no difference in quality and clarity whatsoever, and the machine is extremely well made with an efficient workflow. Couldn't recommend it more!

I love the look and the functionality of Aiden. The are that I am least satisfied is the temperature of the coffee. While the coffee brews at a great temperature, the pot doesn't keep it hot long and there is no hot plate to maintain the temperature. While this may put the quality of the coffee at jeopardy, I would like to make one pot and not have to brink it in an hour to maintain a temperature.

This item is definitely a step up from a Keurig or a big box drip Coffee Maker. However despite marketing claims, it cannot make coffee that competes with any good manually poured pour over setup. Pros: Automation Temperature control Cons: Single Serve Filter type - Bee House Flow meter inaccurate Countertop hog - far to large Frustrating User Interface - rotate wheel & click for all selections Protracted brew times Unable to program highly popular pour over recipes Tetsu/Hoffman/etc.

The Product is beautiful and easy to use. It makes an excellent cup of coffee, and the profile feature is a nice way to dial in a brew for a specific bean. The promise of the machine however is not there quite yet - here are the areas that need some focus: 1) The App doesnt do anything yet. Fellow has promised that "profile editing, sharing, & more" are "coming soon". The expansion of features delivered though the app was the most compelling thing to me in my purchase decision, so getting a constant stream of useful features will be critical for me. 2) The coffee doesnt stay hot for very long in the pot, so you need to try to transfer the brew to another container that holds the heat better fairly quickly. Updating the carafe would be a great move in the next gen. 3) Alerts (app based or on device) would be helpful for things like low/no water, and replacing the filter/beans before your next scheduled brew. I've had my morning coffee brew over previously brewed grounds (yuck!), and had a coffee partially brew since I didnt have enough water in the machine. 4) Although I put the device in sleep mode, there are times when i look over and its gotten itself out of that mode and is sitting on a menu item instead. 5) It would be nice if Brew profiles included grind setting for Fellow's coffee grinders. I have an Ode Grinder and it feels silly that the optimal grind setting is not included in the instruction set. 6) I want to be able to add more brew profiles. The idea of buying coffee from the roaster with all settings dialed in is super compelling, and I can't wait till this is offered on the regular.

This was gifted to us for Christmas and it is the BEST coffee maker we have ever used. It gives step by step instructions on how to curate the best brew depending on your roast type. Super nice when I get up early in the morning and can schedule the Aidan to make me a perfect cup as I wake up. If you love good coffee please do yourself a favor and get this machine, it's the highlight of my morning now.
