It comes with a cap that you can remove when in use. It also has a “lock” feature that you can turn on if you were to put it in your purse so it doesn't get bumped on. It has a hot and cold option. The treatment lasts 6 minutes in total and it warns you after three minutes with a flashing light so you can change sides. In cold mode, a blue light comes on and in hot mode, a red light comes on. It can also be locked for child safety. My favorite treatment is the cold, I really like it and I feel that it helps me the most with the puffiness under the eyes. It is advisable to do it in the morning or before putting on the serums for better absorption and that is what I am doing. It seems to me that it uses good technology and is of very good quality. It is worth buying one of these and I feel that it helps me a lot with my beauty routine and maintains skin that looks young and fresh. I recommend it and would buy it again

Once the unit is charged, decide whether you want to use heat or cold. I used the cold setting first. The first thing I noticed is how cold it gets in seconds. There are three settings: cold, colder, and coldest. A long press will turn the unit on, then press the snowflake or the flame icon. You can press the button once for cold, twice for colder, and three times for coldest. The same goes for the heat icon with warm, warmer, and warmest. This wand is lightweight and sits comfortably in my hand. Thanks to the contoured, easy glide tip, this wand moves smoothly around my face. Applying heat or cold anywhere I place it. It is quiet, making it easy to use anywhere I go. The travel cap keeps the tip clean and protects it while it is in my purse. I like that the treatment time is only six minutes, so it doesn't take long at all. The cold helps to depuff my eyes and minimize my pores. While the heat boosts circulation. This cooled immediately and glides almost effortlessly across my face. The key is a light touch. To much pressure and it will drag on your skin. The fan is nice and quiet, and the flicker is nice to know when to switch sides. I do feel my skin is improved but I believe daily or regular use will be required to see results.
