We've been purchasing Charmin for many, many years now, but this last purchase beats the band. We bought (2# 12 pack double rolls #24 total) and every single roll looks like it was cut with a very dull chainsaw. What happened to your Q.C.? There are shards of paper everywhere, especially where you don't want shards of paper. Totally dissappointed. I felt store return would not be fair, because this is definately not the store's fault. I strongly disapprove of your decision to change the width of Ultra Strong to approx. 1/4" smaller. Yes, it IS noticeable and DOES made a difference, a very negative difference in my opinion. I DO NOT LIKE the change, and after using Charmin for many many years I am now trying different brands. In other words, you are very likely to lose me as a customer, and I'm sure others as well. PLEASE go back to your previous width, and if necessary, shorten the roll.

My husband and I both had issues with this being too rough on our bottoms. I normally buy the Ultra Soft and when I had my husband pick up toilet paper he bought the wrong one. Needless to say he won't make that mistake again. We are back to the Ultra Soft once again.

Ultra Strong was a great idea when introduced. But recently, the product has become soft and mushy like all the rest. What is this obsession the industry has with soft, flimsy, fragile, mushy tissue? Am I the only one whose fingers go thru the paper, and find a lot of peices of paper left on my body????!!!!

I recently purchased a 48 pack of Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper and when I got it home to add to my shelf I noticed right away that the rolls are significantly shorter than the previous batch. Stacked 3 high, they are 1 inch shorter than the previous pack I purchased. I when you tear off a square it is literally square now. It used to be rectangular to some degree, but now it is even smaller. I read a review and response and Charmin admitted the rolls have gotten shorter (or less wide) but have added more fibers and flexibility, etc. This may be true, but I can't tell the difference in quality when the product doesn't do its intended job anymore. It would be like a stronger bulletproof jacket, but it doesn't quite cover your heart all the way. It is no longer useful. I am completely disappointed in this product. I don't mind spending more money for quality products, but when the quality doesn't justify the price, I can't justify the purchase.

We used to exclusively buy Charmin products. After the change to the narrow rolls, our family of 6 will be switching toilet paper. I don't think we should have to hold the roll because it doesn't fit in the holders anymore. There is nothing like chasing the toilet paper after it falls out of the holder and rolls across the floor! Ugh :(

In the recent past, Charmin has reduced the width of the roll significantly and the new smaller size not only does not work as well, but looks really silly in bathroom fixtures that have not shrunk. Please restore the full-width "standard" rolls, even if it has to be relabeled and/or cost more. The product remains superior, but this new packaging will force me to consider a brand I do not like as well if its rolls are full width. Full size rolls get all five stars.

I've used Charmin MANY times at other houses in past years... it ALWAYS is weak and tears and shreds, and I don't like using toilet paper that lets my fingers go through it. I prefer Northern or Marina or MD brands.. they don't tear and have nice texture. Charmin IS soft (and the bears are cute), but it doesn't hold up.

This product has changed. You used to advertise that the toilet tissue did not leave "cling-ons". This is no longer true. It is NOT ULTRA STRONG as is states on the package. It is also thinner. When I use up the 24 rolls I purchased, I plan to change brands. It used to be a good product, but not anymore.

I have been using Charmin Ultra Strong for years and I love it. It is the perfect combination of soft and sturdy. However, reducing the width of it is NOT cool and I will have to find another product. I don't buy cheaper toilet paper because I'm willing to pay a premium for the better stuff. Please bring back the old width and do what you have to do with the price.
