I bought this a few weeks ago to replace my other cordless that was a shark also. The old shark just broke into. I had it for 3 or 4 years. I like the fact that it bends to reach under sofa and tables. That's the only thing I like. And I always buy shark vacuums. This is my 5 th one. It doesn't have the suction that I was expecting when using the crevice tool. And speaking of crevice tool there is no place to carry on vacuum. Every time I need it I have to go get it from other room. Big hassle!! I would not recommend this vacuum.

I needed something easier to maneuver than the upright and canister vacs that I usually have. I also didn't want to have to drag a cord all over the house and changes outlets. I have hardwood floors with a couple of small area rugs. I can vacuum my whole downstairs on ½ a charge (about 1100 sf). When I'm done, I fold it up and plug it in for the next time. With two medium sized shedding dogs, I vacuum at least once a day. This little powerhouse has really saved time, aggravation, and my back and shoulders! So far, my only complaint is that I wish the dust cup was bigger.

It reaches places my old vacuum couldn't and there's no more tripping over the cord either. The digital display on the vacuum shows the battery percentage left so there's no guessing when it's going to die. And the battery life is longer than I expected it to be even when I'm using the boost mode. The attachments help me reach every space in the house and the way the handle bends allows me to get under furniture without hurting my back. Which is a lifesaver because I have back problems and bending can be so hard. I recommend this vacuum to everyone in my life and I highly recommend it to anyone reading this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this vacuum overall. I like that it folds over so it makes it easier to store. I do think it's great with picking up hair and not getting stuck in the bristles. I have long black hair that sheds a lot, so it's nice that it's not getting stuck. I also like that the vacuum swivels, so it makes it easier to get to different areas. I also like that it is not super loud. I also like that it is cordless. I'm not 100% how accurate the Cleans Sense IQ is, as it seems to say there is more dirt in a spot after having already gone over it once and the bar clearing. I do think that it is an interesting concept though. Just not sure it's 100% accurate. Some things I would change: longer batter life. I would also make the canister slightly larger. But other than these things, I think it's a really good vacuum.

This UZ865H Model does not glide over carpets in power mode like my old Shark IF251 did. It is much harder to push. The only design difference seems to be the rubber strips instead of brush strips on the inner cylinder. It is also not as well balanced as the older model and the motor section is heavier. Overall, it is just not as easy or comfortable to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a carpeted stairway without any outlets near it. Vacuuming it with a corded vacuum has always been difficult. This vacuum is amazing for it! I can do the whole stairway in about half the time it took me when I was struggling with a cord. I love that it senses how much power is needed based on how much there is to pick up. It has helped to really clean the heavier traffic areas by increasing the power automatically in those areas. It also transitions from our hard wood floors to the rugs so quickly and easily. We have a dog that sheds a lot and my daughter has super long hair. Between the two of them, hair pickup was one of the things I struggled with. This vacuum picks it up so easily and the self cleaning roller saves me a lot of time from cleaning hair off the vacuum roller. The indicator that shows how much battery life is left is so helpful. I always know when I'm going to need to charge my battery. The canister is quick and easy to dump out. The duster attachment is great! I dusted a very dusty surface with it and it didn't kick up any dust into the air. It was quicker and more efficient than any other dusting method I have use. Overall this is the best vacuum I have ever used.

The features are incredible. I like how it's flexible to fit underneath my furniture which makes it much easier on my back.The clean sense IQ ensures that I always get my carpets and floors clean and the odor neutralizer technology dial leaves the room smelling clean and fresh after vacuuming. Since it's bagless I don't have to worry about handling and discarding dirty bags. I just push a button and the container empties all the dirt and hair into my garbage can. The battery lasts for up to an hour so I can get my whole house done without recharging. Another feature I absolutely love is that it converts to a hand held vacuum so I can get the hair and debris off of my furniture. I can't say enough good things about this vacuum!

It offers a regular ECO mode and the IQ Boosted power mode using 2 brushrolls designed for carpets/floors. Has a Multi-flex Wand , a duster crevice tool, and a Anti allergen brush. Vaccum is cordless and bagless and picks up pet hair.

Picks up great battery horrible They claim the battery last 60mins like to know how. Even on slow eco, in house that was already vacuumed with the shark corded Apex I could only get 41 mins out of the battery, but who wants to vacuum before you vacuum ? I don't. I ended up buying a second battery. Still can't get a whole hr out of it w 2 batteries.

I don't like this unit!! It is so top heavy that it falls over if you take your hand off of it. There is no locking mechanism to hold it into place if you take your hand off of the unit. BEWARE!!!! The only way to balance it is to fold it back over. This is extremely inconvenient if you need to pause and then resume vacuuming. Shark didn't think this one out very well. Very bad design.
