Cute design but disappointing quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this toddler bed to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The design is super cute, and my little one was excited the second they saw it. Unfortunately, the wood and overall materials feel pretty lightweight and not as high quality as I was hoping. My kiddo is a climber and immediately wanted to climb up the sides like a step stool, which made me nervous about safety. We even had a friend's 5-year-old come over and start to hang on the top section, and thankfully we stopped them quickly because it truly seemed like it could've snapped if they put their full weight on it. I also can't confidently speak to the non-toxic coating because the smell when we opened it was extremely strong. It took about 3 days of airing out before it improved, and even now there's still a slight odor. Assembly wasn't too hard (no drilling, just use the included Allen wrench), but it did take a little while and admittedly I had to re-do two sections due to my own error. Overall, I love how it looks, but I really wish the materials felt sturdier and more durable for active toddlers, and the off-gassing was an immediate turn-off for me.
Great Toddler Bed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family absolutely loves this toddler bed! The design is simple and modern, and it looks great in my child's room without feeling too bulky. When transitioning my child from a crib to a toddler bed we wanted to update the room as well and this fit the vibe perfectly. My little one was excited to move into it right away, which made the transition from a crib much easier. The quality feels solid and well-made, and I really appreciated the non-toxic coating as it gave me peace of mind knowing it's safe for a toddler who touches everything and always has her hands in her mouth. Assembly was straightforward and didn't take long at all. My husband thought the instructions were clear and all the pieces fit together easily. What I like most is how sturdy and safe it feels while still being low to the ground, making it perfect for my “I can do it myself”, independent toddler. Overall, it's a great combination of style, safety, and quality. Thank you to Stella Product Testing Panel for sending me this bed!
Loving the Little Seeds Trellis Toddler Bed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the design of the toddler bed. My toddler immediately started to play in it and called it his house. I think it makes nap time and bed time a lot more inviting, and almost like another fun activity! I think it would also be adorable to drape a light curtain over the trellis to make it feel more cozy or like a real play house. I thought about getting a sheer curtain with glow in the dark stars for my son, he would love it. I also really appreciate that it allows the mattress to set on the ground so I don't have to worry about my toddler rolling out of bed in the middle of the night and getting hurt. I was very impressed by the quality of the materials and the painted non-toxic finish. I love how it looks high quality and not cheap at all. The paint finish seems like it will hold up over time with lots of use and play from my toddler. The non-toxic coating is truly an added bonus, which I have never seen or even thought was available for a toddler bed! I am happy I don't have to worry about toxic paint chips or anything floating around my home. The assembly process was simple and the instructions were clear, but it does take a good chunk of time to assemble. The bed comes completely disassembled so you have to put every part together, which isn't terrible but something to take into consideration when assembling with little ones walking around. We had to keep the littles out of the room while we were assembling. I did really appreciated the wooden dowels used to secure the side bars, in addition to the screws, which makes it a lot more sturdy. The first thing my toddler did was try to stand on the side bars so I appreciate the peace of mind that they won't easily break. What I love most about the toddler bed is that nap time and bed time become a fun place, and not just a place for sleep. Even my one year old loves to play on it with my toddler. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this toddler bed. We all love it!
Great transition bed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed is a great transition from the crib. I even get to continue using the crib mattress. My little one and I love that it is Montessori style and on the floor. They can crawl easily in and out, and I don't have to worry about them falling and hurting themself. However, I will say I wasn't expecting the mattress to be directly on the floor. I figured there would be some slats or something between the floor and mattress, but that may be due to my lack of knowledge with Montessori style. I also like how the setup gives me the option to use the bed with the A-frame canopy or as two separate pieces. Of course, I'm using the bed with the canopy so I can hang some netting and string lights to hopefully create a magical environment for my kiddo. Instructions were easy to follow, and assembly took about 30 minutes. However, I will note that there was an odor when I first opened up everything but it did dissipate quickly. The pieces appear to be made of quality sturdy material. The non-toxic coating is a must as we all know toddlers be toddling and will put their mouth on just about anything. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this toddler bed.
Little Seeds Trellis Toddler Bed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Little Seeds Trellis Toddler Bed from Stellar Product Testing Panel. We just moved and got it set up last night and we love it! The design is so cute and I love the white color. It goes with everything and looks so sleek and clean. My son loves that it looks like a house and has his own "fort". The quality was very nice and durable and I love that it has non toxic coating in case he tries chewing on it. The assembly was very minimal and easy even for me to do. What I like most about this bed is not only is it very chic, I love that it's on the floor so he can't fall out of the bed. I'm so happy with it and will post a picture when we get my sons room all set up.
Whimsical house shaped toddler bed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this toddler bed from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I personally appreciate the design of the Little Seeds Trellis toddler bed. It is a Montessori-designed bed frame that is low to the floor to ensure the safety of your child. Designed for children aged 15 months and older. The bed frame's whimsical house shape is visually appealing. Notably, the bed frame can be transformed into a play fort. You can easily add string lights or a sheet to the frame, allowing your child's imagination to flourish. The quality of the bed frame is reasonable and sturdy. The frame is constructed from pine, which initially released a stronger pine odor from the box opening. However, after a day or so, the pine scent dissipated. The frame I received features a white non-toxic finish, suitable for either gender. The assembly time for the bed frame was relatively short, taking approximately 45 minutes from start to finish. My toddler slept peacefully on the first night we assembled it and continues to sleep well in it.
Picturesque but concerning scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was received thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Pros: putting this together was so simple, less than an hour altogether and no additional tools which is a HUGE benefit in my book. The design is absolutely precious and would be a dream with some fairy lights. Very simple to follow instructions with durable materials. Cons: the smell of the materials is concerning. Upon opening the box there was a very strong smell similar to spray paint. Nothing about the box or items is has spray paint on it so this concerned me as the coating is marketed as non-toxic. The scent was so strong I had to open a window and move the bed from my child's room, and the room it is in now also has the strong odor and I can not get it to dissipate. It has been multiple days since putting together. I've had furniture in the past that has a scent upon unboxing but never for this long. I cannot in good conscience use this product for my child while the scent is so strong. I'm really hopeful it will calm down and we can use the bed soon! In all fairness it could potentially be a shipping issue but I notice the scent on the pieces more than the box it came in. Considering the style, durability and ease of assembling this would be a product I would recommend if the scent issue was looked into. Also please read ALL of the instructions. You will be left with a few pieces after putting it together which is for the floor bed and playground conversion, which is another feature I highly appreciate as most beds conversion kits are a separate purchase! All in all, I am doing my best to reduce the scent and really look forward to using this fun bed for my little one so long as we can do it safely.
Sturdy Toddler Bed with Assembly Challenges
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this toddler bed, and so does my little one! The design is adorable and thoughtfully done. The trellis/house style feels playful without overwhelming the room, which really surprised me in the best way. Many of the beds that I had been considering in this style tend to feel huge - almost like an adult canopy bed, just on the floor - but this one is perfectly proportioned for a child, both vertically and horizontally. It doesn't overcrowd the space at all, making it a great option for smaller rooms or for parents who want to keep things feeling open and calm without sacrificing style. I will say, the quality is excellent. The materials feel very sturdy and well-made, and I really appreciated that everything is finished with non-toxic coatings. That peace of mind matters so much when it's something your child is sleeping and playing on every day, and it definitely shows that care went into how this bed was made. Assembly was overall manageable, but not without a bit of frustration. Several of the pieces weren't labeled with letters, which made it harder to quickly identify parts during certain steps and definitely slowed the process down. I found myself double-checking pieces more than I would have liked, which added extra time. That said, it was still very doable. I really appreciated that everything you need is included—literally just the provided Allen wrench, with no extra tools required. The hardware was neatly packaged and clearly organized, which helped offset some of the confusion with the unlabeled pieces. I was able to assemble it by myself in under two hours while going at a very relaxed pace, and I think it could be done closer to an hour if the pieces were labeled and you were more focused. One of my favorite features is how versatile this bed is. You can assemble it as a trellis house bed, or break it apart into a Montessori-style floor bed and a little “playground” setup. The transition between configurations is very easy, which is fun if you like to change things up or want something that can grow with your child's needs; switching between setups doesn't take much work. Overall, this is a beautifully designed, sturdy, and thoughtfully made toddler bed. The flexibility, non-toxic materials, space-friendly size, and solid construction really set it apart. While the missing labels did make assembly more time-consuming than necessary, the end result was worth it. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this toddler bed. It's both functional and cute, and has quickly became a favorite in our home.
Toddler bed that encourages fun and imagination
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this toddler bed from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My daughter is about to transition into a toddler bed and we have been really excited about putting the Little Seeds Trellis Toddler Bed. It took under an hour to assemble myself. Admittedly I was a little concerned as I was taking materials out of the box. It said non-toxic coating, however there was definitely a chemical odor that disappeared quickly, but still a little bit of a flag for me. The assembly was easy for one person. The materials are very light weight. some of the paint was chipped on a few and a white poweder residue was on the floor after i finished. I took a star away for this - quality of materials felt questionable. This is a montessori style bed, so the mattress goes right on the ground. My toddler LOVED the fact that it was low to the ground and she could effortlessly get up and down. She was giggling as she walked around the bed, reaching for the top - we have ordered some scarves to hang on it for some sensory fun. It is very whimsical, which we love. I did discover that my daughter is not quite ready for the move to a toddler bed - she has been far too excited and is using it as a playhouse now, which is really adorable. She enjoys putting her stuffed animals to bed in there. Overall, very cute and fun. Wish the materials felt like they were a little better quality and the smell hadn't been so strong. As a place to play, it's an absolute hit.
Cute Montessori style toddler bed frame
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this toddler bed from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and so far I've loved it for my toddler (and he's enjoyed it so far too!) The frame itself was very easy to put together and the instructions were fairly clear to follow along. The parts of the frame are made of wood and arrived in good condition, I didn't notice any chips or damage to the parts. I like that it's a Montessori style toddler bed so they can get in and out by themselves and that the upper half of the frame can detach to create a little play area for them, I've kept it together as of now though. So far it's held up great even with my toddler trying to climb the side of the frames, it doesn't seem unstable as a standalone.
