Super Cute
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received this toddler bed, I loved that the packaging was easy to be able to handle solo! It wasn't heavy or awkward to carry from outside to my toddlers upstairs bedroom. Upon opening the box, the hardware has red ribbon attached, making them super easy to find & get to when opening the package! I will say, I was definitely a little skeptical and overwhelmed when I saw the amount of pieces/parts. It was a challenge but a welcomed one as the finished product is adorable, sturdy & non-toxic! It's something you can do on your own, just know it will take a little patience. Hopefully these tips help: 1. When doing the first couple steps, flip it upside down to make it easier (see photos). 2. Definitely check which holes should have the dowels, the instructions illustration can be a bit misleading. 3. Pay attention to the direction the pieces need to face. 4. When tightening the bolts on the slats, be sure to leave one side slightly loose so that you can slide the other pieces in place. Once finished, you'll love it! Just like my toddler and I did! This is overall a beautiful and solid piece of furniture that sparks a toddlers creativity! Absolutely love! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this toddler bed.
Great Introductory Toddler Bed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this toddler bed from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Little Seeds Trellis Toddler Bed arrived with alphabetically labeled pieces, one-size screws for the entire setup, wooden pegs, and nuts, which made the assembly fairly straightforward and easy to understand. The only tool needed was the included Allen wrench. I was able to put it together by myself, although having a second person would have made it even easier. From unboxing to completion of the base and attached canopy structure, the assembly took me 1 hour and 22 minutes. The bed fit my standard-size crib mattress perfectly and stabilized it well on the floor. I have the white model and found the non-toxic coating to be smooth and sturdy. Assembling the frame was simple because all of the materials fit neatly into their designated spots. The instruction manual was concise and included clear, helpful pictures that guided me step-by-step, along with instructions on how to separate the base from the A-frame if needed. If there were one thing I would change about the assembly, it would be to include a few extra screws or nuts in case one is misplaced in the future. The product included exactly the right number of pieces, but having spares would be helpful. I love the clean, modern look of this bed. Growing up, I remember being jealous of friends who had canopy beds because they could drape fabric over them to create a luxurious feel or added privacy. The A-frame design on this toddler bed adds a similar fun element of imagination. I have twin toddlers who were excited to test this bed. My son is an escape artist when it comes to his crib, so he loved how easily he could crawl in and out of the bed. I appreciated how safely he could do so with the crib rails gone. He recognized his crib mattress and understood that this was a place for sleep, and he also enjoyed pulling himself up on the sides of the frame. My daughter was more hesitant about the design compared to her crib. She struggled with sleeping in it at first because she viewed it more as a play area than a sleep space. I even invited one of her stuffed animals to join her to encourage rest, but she didn't quite make the connection. That said, she really enjoyed it for play. When I draped a blanket over the bed to make a fort, both twins loved playing together inside. What I love most about this toddler bed is the peace of mind it provides, knowing my children can safely rest and play independently. Because the bed sits on the floor, I could also comfortably rest my head while they played and climbed around me. I also appreciated how sleek, simple and aesthetically pleasing the bed looks. It doesn't look cheap or plasticky like some toddler beds. Overall, the Little Seeds Trellis Toddler Bed is a great product for transitioning a child from a crib to a toddler bed.
Trellis Toddler Bed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this toddler bed from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The bed is absolutely adorable and I love how it can be either a floor bed for your child, but you can also take the A-frame canopy roof off and make it into a play fort for your kids too. The bed is practicality meets whimsical, which is ideal for any kiddo! I love that it sparks creativity for their little imaginations. The instructions were easy to follow and the bed did not take long to put together. Just a heads up, maybe let it air out for a day or so before your kiddo sleeps in it because it does have a bit of an odor at first. The odor does dissipate quickly though and is normal, so don't worry. The materials are solid and sturdy. I like that it was thoughtfully designed with a non-toxic coating, which is important to me as a parent with little kids. My toddler immediately climbed into it and rolled around and didn't get hurt since it's a floor bed. It provides safety and accessibility. This Montessori floor bed gives kids creativity and independence. It looks adorable in my daughter's room and matches her style and personality perfectly. My only reason for taking a star off is because the mattress is flat on the floor. I know it's a floor bed, but because there are no slats for air circulation, you will need to continuously pick it up and air it out to prevent potential mold. I do have carpeted flooring in my daughter's bedroom and live in a warm climate so that is the only caveat. Otherwise, the bed is perfect and absolutely adorable! It is well-made and seems like it will definitely last long.
