So far so good. We are huge fans of European gelato and are looking forward to developing our own gelatos. For now playing with recipes online. My first go was a cherry garcia clone (it's cherry season). That came out exceptional (with an egg custard base). I tried the chocolate ice cream recipe in Ninja recipes, and its not as good (eggs?). We did a Pistachio for my girlfriend, and that came out pretty good with a respin when we take it back out. I also tried an old fashioned sorbet (fresh cherries and bourbon). I like it, not sweet, and I think could be addictive with more sweet. but that never needs respin. Just take it out and eat. The most recent, matcha gelato, came out like the pros (again an egg base). It's easy to use, the directions are straightforward. It's easy to clean. At this point, I took off a star for the noise, and also for the non-egg ice creams coming out a bit off. That might yet be recipe related and we'll be researching a bit more.

We did lots of research before purchase. It looked great. I don't know what I was expecting, even after all the rave reviews - but it is even better! So creamy! I love that we can control the ingredients. We make a lot using protein powder and greek yogurt. We are just now playing with the mix-ins. We bought an extra set of containers. Frankly, we have been only eating healthy ice cream for dinner since we got it. LOL. The ONLY issue we've had (which is not the machine's fault at all) is that if you make something with no or very little fat in it, you need to re-spin or add some fat, liquid, or xanthin gum. Otherwise, it becomes crumbly. Just keep spinning!

Recent versions of this machine have a glitch. You have to physically unplug the machine to be able to turn it back on once it's been sitting overnight. Ninja's service team (which has otherwise been excellent) claimed this is an intentional feature to protect the motor from overheating. Not only is that explanation ridiculous, versions of the Ninja Deluxe from 6+ months ago don't have this problem. Having to unplug and plug this in every time I use the ninja is a minor inconvenience. I just hope this doesn't indicate future issues related to the motor protection function. Otherwise, I love the device, though the instruction could have been more clear. This is a 5-star device though they lost 2 stars for not taking responsibility for this issue with recent units.

Had to give 5 Stars so I didn't end up at the bottom. I spent weeks trying different recipes I had one success out of 20+ tries. Good concept but needs work. The drive shaft immerses through your food then retracts back into the machine. There is no way to clean the shaft, I imagine there could be a lot of bacteria growing in there. Twice the blade cut the sides of two different containers putting strands of plastic into the ice cream. Returned it!

I absolutely love machine. I don't know how anyone is confused by the instructions because they are very clear. Any issues are definitely user error! The ice cream is exactly as I'm used to from the previous model, but oh my God the creamiccino, slush, and Italian ice functions are awesome! I will use every function on this one, unlike the previous model where I didn't use the smoothie bowl function. The bases are just as quick to create even with more volume. You definitely need to monitor the temperature in your freezer because I'm sure that's where everyone with issues are stemming from.

Sometimes I can't put into words just how much I love my Ninja Creami Deluxe. We use it multiple times per week and occasionally multiple times per day. As a diabetic, I often make high protein, low carb ice cream mixes to have for beakfast and/or evening snack. If you don't have a Creami machine yet you definitely should hurry!

My first time using this machine I followed directions, videos to the tee. This machines blade fell off twice and then once attached again it proceeded to bury its blade on the side of my creami cup until my ice cream was full of plastic. I didn't only waste money on this machine and extra pint containers but wasted my time and disappointed my family. This was a way to control what goes into our food. So upset with everything about this machine !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Creami because I can't tolerate milk fat and only eat nonfat frozen yogurt. The closest froyo place is a 20-minute drive and getting this made sense. Since I make my own yogurt, I know exactly what is going into my frozen yogurt. My favorite fat-free treat is made with Mexican vanilla, sweetened with stevia, and fresh fruit mix-ins. I do recommend always checking the consistency and utilizing the ReSpin feature before adding any mix-ins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this product all recipes are very easy to make and using the machine is very simple. I tried everything I could I did notice that for the slushi you don't need to put it in the freezer for the full 24 hours at least I noticed that it was to long and the blade actually came off while it was mixing the slushi my only other issue with the product is the fact on most thing you do have to wait 24 hours for the to freeze, if I wanted icecream in that moment I would have to wait and that wasn't enjoyable. Otherwise I think the product was great and I will continue using it.

I was skeptical on buying this thinking it will not work right. But Ninja proved me wrong. I froze some home canned peaches and tried it on the machine the word is wow. This machine made ice-cream with it very well. Then I made some soft pineapple ice-cream it also made that well. Soft and creamy and tasted like soft Ice-cream not like ice water. A little load when running but it is like any other kitchen grinder. Very well made and the setup is very easy. Containers are heavy duty not flimsy. Seems like this machine will handle years of abuse. Did not expect this machine to work so well. On a note: you will have to run it 2 times in order to get the right Ice-cream consistency but it does it's job. If you can get it, buy it it, is worth it. Oh and get extra containers it only comes with 2.
