So thankful we bought the Dyson v15 Detect! Cordless, bagless and SO versatile! Great for vacuuming floors, rugs, and carpets - easy to swap out and use hand-held to clean the car or truck. Truly makes the job fun. Our kids and grandkids love to use it too. Purchase one! You won't regret it.

I have been wanting a cordless vac for some time, as I more often sweep my hardwood floors (as opposed to getting out the heavy upright vac), which often feels like rearranging the dust. I am very happy with my Detect! It is light and able to get into and under more spaces, quieter than my upright vac, automatically detects and adjusts for carpet, and I still get pleasantly surprised that the cord isn't in the way! My broom will be sad, but I am happy.

This (much needed) cordless vacuum is amazing. Easy to use, does a great job on our carpets and empties with ease. But the laser-guided hard floor attachment is amazing. It shows the dust and dirt that you normally can't see to clean. It does a wonderful job cleaning against floor molding and in corners. So glad we invested in it.

This vacuum is almost as good as a corded model and it is much lighter. I have always dreaded vacuuming, bit with the V15 I do not dread it. I grab it, does the vacuuming and shortly I am done without having to deal with a cord. Love it especially on hardwood.

I've had mine two weeks now and am astounded at the amount I've pulled from my carpeting. It's fun and easy to use. My only complaint is the difficulty in removing the power nozzle and hardwood nozzle. Others suggest it gets easier with time, but it's almost a deal-breaker. Most of the attachments easily pop off but the two main attachments are hard to remove.

A very well engineered vacuum that does a great job picking up dirt. My only criticism is that the charging cradle is incredibly flimsy and seem as if it would be likely to break with routine use. Seems like a foolish place to cut corners for such an expensive vacuum.

His vacuum has much improved battery life over my previous vacuum. I can now vacuum for about an hour which does the living areas upstairs and down. It is light enough to do the stairs too, and it maneuvers more smoothly despite being more heavy duty. Very pleased so far!

I bought this about a month ago and use it daily. It works great and has great suction but there are issues that I wish it had. Non trigger switch. On or off would make it better on my wrist. The green light would be nice on the main beater bar not just the Fluffy one.

I picked this as my work anniversary gift. I love all the attachments and glad there's videos to reference. Easy to assemble and operate. Scary attachment is the one for wood floors with the green light. You think your floors have been clean until you get this vacuum.

I love the head for wood floors. Didn't see all the small particles on the kitchen wood floor. Still getting use to taking the motor off the pipe to empty the waste bin. Since I have dogs, I need to do this often and it should be simpler. I move from carpet to wood floors often. Changing heads are more difficult. Think once I push the release button it would come right out; but some times it requires more finesse. Feel that it is cleaning effectively and can't believe how much is captured by the filter. I've had this machine a little over a month and had to clean the filter!
