I have really enjoyed this vacuum cleaner! I love the ability to lay it flat on the floor so that the head can go all the way under tables and sofas. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because there is no light! How hard is it to install a little light on a vacuum cleaner?

I picked this as my work anniversary gift. I love all the attachments and glad there's videos to reference. Easy to assemble and operate. Scary attachment is the one for wood floors with the green light. You think your floors have been clean until you get this vacuum.

Just received and used on our bedroom carpet. We have two cats and a dog — all shedders. We had to empty the dust bin at least 8 times while vacuuming- but our carpet never looked so clean. It was amazing. We are glad we got this new model. It's great.

This vacuum is almost as good as a corded model and it is much lighter. I have always dreaded vacuuming, bit with the V15 I do not dread it. I grab it, does the vacuuming and shortly I am done without having to deal with a cord. Love it especially on hardwood.

I love to use it. I HATE to empty it!! The hair gets stuck at the top. The canister is longer and slides down. This makes it extremely difficult to "reach" what is trapped at the top of the canister. To avoid using my fingers I had to dedicate and sacrifice a kitchen utensil to get the clumps. Disgusting! Didn't any of you clowns have dogs and rugs. I like the V8 much better.

I've had Dyson products in the past and have loved them. I'd been eying the v15 Detect for a while and am happy to say that it does not disappoint. I have a roomba-like vacuum robot runs daily and when I use the v15 after it, I can see where the robot's missed things or moved it around. It's light, easy to use, and so much better than my prior cordless stick vac. It's also been great to use with the carpet attachment and that is also so much better than the other stick vac. The power to really clean the carpet with dug-in dust and grime is obvious. I had heard that the dead-man switch to power the vac can be tiring but it's not at all an issue. I love the v15 Detect.

So thankful we bought the Dyson v15 Detect! Cordless, bagless and SO versatile! Great for vacuuming floors, rugs, and carpets - easy to swap out and use hand-held to clean the car or truck. Truly makes the job fun. Our kids and grandkids love to use it too. Purchase one! You won't regret it.

This vacuum is really nice. I love the way it picks up and how it adjusts from carpet to hardwood floors. The stand up tool holder/charger capability is wonderful. And "NO CORD" to trip over and to keep maneuvering while I'm vacuuming. This is the only vacuum where I've used almost all the attachments too, so far. I will be using the all in time. I can't get over how quiet it is compared to my other vacuums. I'd recommend it to everyone.

Performance is great. Works beautifully on my wood floors. Some reviews said the on trigger was hard to hold. I did buy a gadget to keep it on without using my hand (fingers). But I don't really need it at all. I find the trigger no problem at all.

I purchased The Dyson V15 Detect vacuum about two weeks ago and absolutely Love it!!! I have the Dyson V15 absolute but find that too heavy for me. I use the absolute upstairs and bought the Detect for my main floor. Right after I vacuumed the downstairs with an old Dyson i had I vacuumed the same floors with the Detect - Wow, did it show me where I missed and also showed me how much dust was still on my floors!! I had so much fun vacuuming with it since i saw what the old vacuum left behind! I am buying one for my daughter and one for my daughter-in-law for the holiday! I recommend this vacuum very highly!
