I love my Dyson though only have two issues, wish there was a power on button instead of the trigger so I don't have to hold it down the whole time I'm vacuuming. Also a light on the Motörhead for all types of flooring would be super helpful. Overall the vacuum is amazing.

I like my month-old Dyson v15. It's easy to find, take down off the wall, and put it back when finished. It's, also quiet compared to my previous vacuum. Thank you. Power should be an attractive feature, However, I see it picking up lots of woolly bits and wonder if it is too powerful for my wall to wall wool rugs.

We love the vacuum, it works well and we love the detect feature. I'm surprised that Dyson didn't put on some way to keep it running without always holding the trigger. That part is annoying if you're cleaning for an hour. There's countless people selling trigger adapters online to fix this issue but that should tell Dyson something. Outside of that minor thing, the vacuum has been great so far.

This is an excellent vacuum. The hard floor attachment with its blue light shows a terrifying amount of missed dust. My only complaint is you have to remove the vacuum tube in order to dump the canister and it takes Herculean strength and stepping on the floor attachment to pull it apart.

I'm surprisingly happy with this purchase. I've never spent anywhere near this much on a vacuum. I have a long history of cheap vacuums that I replace every couple of years. And this is my first rechargeable vacuum. I love it! I love that the battery is always charged and if I just want to vacuum a small section of a room I don't have to drag out a vacuum and find an outlet. I love that I can vacuum the whole main floor of my house without having to move from one outlet to the next. I just hope it lasts. For the money that these cost, I'm worried that in 2 years I'll be replacing it. But if the vacuum lasts at least 5 years, it will be worth the money.

We purchased our Dyson V15 about a month ago. It is a true game changer. It was initially embarrassing o see how much dirt and dog hair it picked up from surfaces we thought we had cleaned. It is quiet and powerful. The attachment for use on wood or tile floors has an amazing light to help see the dirt. We recommend that the attachment for the carpet have the same feature.

Bought this because my son who has this model of Dyson brought it to our house to give me an “in home demonstration” (and no, he doesn't work for Dyson, he just loves his appliance!). After seeing how much dirt it picked up, and this is after I used my own vacuum, I was sold! It of course helped that the Dyson feels weightless and there is absolutely no strain to my back, my arm, my body. Who would think I would look forward to vacuuming!

I bought the Dyson 15V Detect about a month ago to replace my original Dyson stick vacuum and what a difference there is between the two. First off and most importantly the charge last way longer than the old one ever did. The new unit is much quieter and exponentially more powerful. The new unit has many more attachments that I have yet to use but am looking forward to doing so.

I got this vacuum as a retirement gift. I had a B&D 20V stick vac I used before. I live on a farm and have laminate floors throughout with rugs here and there. Things I like about the Dyson- It has great suction, it picks up a lot more than the B&D. The battery lasts a very long time, long enough to do my entire house. The multi floor head picks up everything - dirt, hair, hay, leaves, small mulch, etc. I use it pretty exclusively on the floors because it works so well. The hair screw tool does a great job getting hair off the couch. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats so there's a lot. Things I hate about the Dyson- There is no light on the multi floor head so you can't see what you missed. At this price I would expect one, the B&D even has one. You have to hold the power button down. It's easy to do but super annoying. I don't care about particle size. As long as the floor looks clean I'm happy. All this being said I like the Dyson better than my old vac but I'm glad I didn't pay retail for it.

This is my second Dyson, I gave my first one to my grandson. Love that it is cordless, but I find the attachments challenging to install and release. I read all the instructions and there were parts in the box that I had no idea how to use. I also find it very difficult to lift it off the wall mount, therefore I'm using the plug-in port in the back and just laying the Dyson on a counter to charge.
