We love the vacuum, it works well and we love the detect feature. I'm surprised that Dyson didn't put on some way to keep it running without always holding the trigger. That part is annoying if you're cleaning for an hour. There's countless people selling trigger adapters online to fix this issue but that should tell Dyson something. Outside of that minor thing, the vacuum has been great so far.

We purchased our Dyson V15 about a month ago. It is a true game changer. It was initially embarrassing o see how much dirt and dog hair it picked up from surfaces we thought we had cleaned. It is quiet and powerful. The attachment for use on wood or tile floors has an amazing light to help see the dirt. We recommend that the attachment for the carpet have the same feature.

This unit is a replacement. I didn't really need the entire unit to be replaced, because only the rug attachment motor had stopped working. The new unit is easy to use. The rug attachment is working, although it seems flimsier than the one it replaced.

This is our second. Dyson the first was a ball upright, still works well and we are using it at the lake.We bought it about 2 weeks ago. We love the product. We have a dog. The dyson is easy. To handle and does a great job. Power is great i am looking at getting the pet package. We watch for sale.

I purchased this expensive item earlier this month (Dec2025). The battery is not lasting the 60 minutes advertised. The battery displays full charge when charging but as soon as disconnected the batter display half the full charge. Great device but the battery seem defected. I will most likely return the device.

It is great for our main floor with hard coverings (tile and laminate) the light shows all of the dirt and hair and is quite amazing ! It's very light and has great suction. The entry mats have never been cleaner. I would recommend this to anyone with hard floors. We still have our plug in for the upstairs as this one would need several batteries to complete the thicker carpeted upstairs. It does great but the carpet really sucks the battery down. Great product for what we use it for.

I asked that my Dyson be buried with me. I got it for Christmas and vacuumed until I got a blister. I'm cleaning the filter tomorrow for the first time - there's a video on the handle demonstrating how to do it… what! Battery lasts a long time and it's quiet. I swear the attachment for hard surfaces actually shines our hardwood floors. The light is magic you could vacuum in the dark. My grandkids take turns vacuuming.

I upgraded a month ago from an 11 year-old Dyson stick vacuum. All I can say is that Dyson vacuum technology has come a long way since then. I'm especially impressed with the power, and the fact I no longer have to cut and untangle hair from heads. The hair crew tool is also amazing on furniture, dog beds, etc. Having a multi floor home with a mix of hardwood, tile, wall to wall carpet, and area rugs, I appreciate that the digital motor bar adjusts from carpet to hard floors. Although the attachments click on and off easily, the only thing I personally don't like is having to remove the wand to empty the bin. The laser cleaning head revealing all the dust is amazing, and I also like the dust filtration display, as well as how much runtime is left. Very pleased with my choice of this Dyson V15 Detect Vacuum - and can understand why it's received so many positive reviews

Light weight, long battery life, great attachments for tackling little jobs, great suction and power. I have a St. Bernard and the Dyson V15 cleans the fur up so quickly and easily. Previous vacuums had to go over an area multiple times to get the fur up, but with the Dyson it's gone with little effort. The simplicity of set up and the functionality of the vacuum is fantastic too!

Wasn't sure if we really wanted to spend that much money on a vac but after having gone through 4 other vacs in about as many years we bit the bullet. So glad we did! This vac is great seriously, so much better than anything else we've owned. The suction is unmatched and with all the included attachments, it's gets many jobs done so much better!!
