I thought the tuna tasted very good, a lot better than the big name brands. The texture was firm and flakey, not mushy at all. It was enjoyable and really yummy in a tuna salad sandwich. The sandwich was flavorful and held together well. The price is on the higher side for canned tuna, but it is well worth it considering the taste and quality. What stood out most to me was the clean taste and firm texture. It felt high quality and didn't seem like the over processed mushy tuna I often see in stores. I would definitely recommend it to others. I an happy to spend more on products when I know I am getting high quality for my family.

I usually get fancy tuna packed in a lot of olive oil, and when I opened this tuna it seemed like it might be a little dry since it wasn't absolutely swimming in oil. But it wasn't dry at all. Quite the opposite. The texture was rich and silky, and the flavor was divine. I mostly use tuna in things like Nicoise salad, and this was just perfect for it. I received this Rio Mare product as part of the Stellar product testing panel, and I will absolutely be ordering it again on my own. When I look at the price, it seems like a way better deal (and just a better product overall) than the expensive ventresca tuna I've sought out before. Perfect portion size, too. I can't recommend this product highly enough.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was compared to other canned tunas I've had! The flavor was a little rich but in a good way, and the texture was firm and not watery at all. I ate it straight out of the can for a quick, high protein lunch, and it was really satisfying on its own. It's definitely pricier than the standard grocery store tuna, so it's not something I'd buy for everyday use but the quality is noticeably higher, and I felt like I was eating a more premium product. What stood out most to me was how filling it was! I stayed full much longer than I usually do after lunch. Overall, I'd call it a tasty, high quality option that feels more like a treat than an everyday pantry staple.

It is an iconic element of “girl dinner” and I am constantly on the search for the best available options, always. When I say I've tried every brand I'm not being hyperbolic. When Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me the 2.3oz portion tins 3 pack of Rio Mare I was over the moon. Texture and taste both pass the test with flying colors. The taste is exceptional and doesn't have any artificial or tinny taste. IYKYK. It tasted freshly packed and I appreciate the amount of olive oil as well as the pop top because it means I'm more likely to take it on a picnic or as an on the go snack, it doesn't make a mess! The quality at this price point works for me as a busy mom of young children. My biggest plus point is ease of use and quality. I added it to a quick pasta, used it on a salad, and one day I just added some sesame oil, seaweed flakes, and togarashi and had it right out of the can! I love it. I'm glad I tried it and will be looking for it at my local supermarket.
