No more store brand tuna for me. U normally buy the water packed tuna too but the olive oil really makes me feel that this product in more in line with a Mediterranean diet. It definitely adds flavor. I have been revisiting tuna sandwiches with red onion like my grandma used to make. Yum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is delicious, tender tuna. It tastes great straight from the can. It's lightly salted and not too oily, so doesn't need to be drained. It makes for a quick easy meal since it doesn't need any dressing up. I liked it as a simple topping on toasts and salads. The portion is small compared to a standard can of tuna, but it's nicer quality and still a good size for a single serving. I received this from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it is tinned fish fan approved!

I didn't like how it was small cans I felt like I needed a little bit more than what was in one can but two cans was too much. I do like that it was light tuna as those have less mercury than the other tuna versions. The olive oil was a great flavour profile and clean.

I enjoy tuna that is in olive oil as I like the added benefits of the olive oil in addition to the olive oil taste. It is a little bit more expensive than my usual tuna so I would only buy every once in a while.

What stood out to me the most is the texture of the tuna which along with the moist cuts of fish make for an outstanding fresh taste. A tuna sandwich paired with chips is a lunch favorite in my household and Rio Mare definitely delivered! My kids were asking for more and clearly noted the substantial difference in taste compared to other canned tuna. While the price is quite expensive, the quality of Rio Mare is unmatched making it a worthwhile choice amongst other canned tunas. I highly recommend Rio Mare Solid Light Wild Tuna to anyone who truly values quality and taste! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I eat tuna regularly because I think it's very healthy. So finding tuna and olive oil sounded very appealing and I think it taste OK. But I thought about it again. I really think water based to us probably healthier than olive oil or any oil. There is a huge price difference between the regular tuna I get and this olive based tuna therefore, I think I'll stick with my regular tuna that's in water

I've tried several brands and types of tuna fish, and this one is toward the top of my list! The tuna itself had great flavor - nice and pure without being overly "fishy." The oil was not too heavy and its flavor didn't mask that of the fish. A great addition to a Niçoise salad! One thing I've preferred from other brands was a larger flake of tuna - this particular tuna had small flakes and was a little mushier in texture.
