[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed how how well these dishwasher packs clean dishes! Every time I use them my dishes come of clean. It even cleans hard, stuck on food from dishes. I also love that they don't have any scent.

I'll admit that when I recieved these samples, I didn't expect them to work that well because plant based cleaners haven't done much to help me in the past. However, I was wrong to doubt these dishwasher detergent packs. I tried them out on dusty, dirty glasses that were sitting in the back of a cabinet and hadn't been used in years. I attempted to hand wash them before, but they still looked gross. Once I put the glasses into the dishwasher with the Seventh Generation Free & Clear Powerful Clean pack, they came out looking like they were brand new! I couldn't believe my eyes!! I will definitely be buying these to use in the future. Please note: I received a free product in exchange for my honest review.

I usually use Ecover, but had the opportunity to try this brand. We do 5-7 load of dishes each week, so I've had a good opportunity to test it out. At first I thought the packet must get stuck in the dispenser and not dissolve all the way, but had no issues with that. Never found any residue inside the machine. I liked the fact that it was completely scent-free. I much prefer that over synthetic aromas or even essential oils because they're usually too strong (too smelly) for me. Overall these did a decent job of cleaning. I really have no complaints, but overall I think the dishes were a tad less shiny than with my normal brand. However, since I tend to have to switch around a lot or eventually the dishes stop getting clean, I will probably use Seventh Generation as one of my switch-out brands when I need to take a break from my usual brand. “I am member of Generation Good, and received this product to try for free.”

I've been using these pods for the last few years with great results, but when they changed to the cardboard packaging, I noticed that my dishes were not getting as clean and there were streaks. I feel like the pods are smaller to. They used to barely fit in my dispenser and now they easily fit with room to spare. Not sure if there was a formulation change. Also, the newer product is 675 g vs. 810 grams.

I LOVED these! Got my dishes clean and so convenient! I was lucky to be able to try these for free. What I love about Seventh Generation is that there are no harmful chemicals left on dishes like some of the other brands. I have children at home and I try very hard to keep them away from harmful cleaning agents. Not a problem here! I love the dish soap and LOVE the dishwasher packs! Fan for life!

These Seventh Generation Dishwasher Detergent Packs work great on my dishes. They work just as well as the other top brands, if not better. These are made from plants and minerals. These are my favorite dishwasher detergent packs by far. I recommend these Generation Dishwasher Detergent Packs.

Through #generationgood @7thGenPartner gave me the opportunity to try Free & Clear Dishwasher Detergent as a free sample by mail. I love to try plant-based home cleaning products for free too because they are safer and help me do my part in saving mother earth. The dishwasher detergent didn't disappoint. It works great and is green. Ot cleans well. I highly recommend it. You should give it a try too.

I have used the Seventh Generation Dish Pacs for 18 months now. My dishwasher always leaves loose powder in the detergent cup so it is necessary for me to use pacs to prevent this. I have been very happy with the cleanliness of my dishes and there is never a residue left behind. The original version of these dish pacs were packaged in a cardboard box. I was disappointed to see that the packaging had been changed to plastic and I contacted Seventh Generation to express my disappointment. To my surprise they responded with the following: We appreciate your concern for the impacts of the products you purchase. I do want to be clear that the pouch we are using can be recycled. It can be recycled at most grocery stores, at the front of the store many places have recycling for the plastic bags and the pouch can be added to this. Another important note, the cardboard we did use for the pacs was not recyclable. There was a small amount of clay in the cardboard to help prevent any moisture from entering and this prevented it from being recycled. It could break down, if exposed to the right elements but most likely this would not happen if tossed in the trash. The new pouch is not ideal but the overall impact is actually less than that of the cardboard we were using. We do feel that plastic needs to used only when necessary and that it should certainly be recyclable.

I tried these for free through Generation Good and was AMAZED at the sparkle and shine of my dishes after just one use! No leftover residue, no harsh smells and 100% confidence that my family (and dog) are eating off clean and chemical free plates. These are a must!

I just used a Seventh Generation Dishwashing Detergent Pack for the first time thanks to a free sample supplied when I signed up to be a Generation Good member (spread the eco-friendly message, ya'll). I pulled out my dishes and noticed how shiny clean they looked! I admit I was surprised how well the dishes got clean. I try using eco-friendly products as much as I can, but sometimes disappointed in the quality or effectiveness. Not with these! They were great!
