Clean Green Power: Seventh Generation Disinfecting

Seventh Generation Disinfecting Wipes (Lemongrass Citrus is my fave) are straight-up clutch for keeping things germ-free without the guilt trip. Powered by thymol from essential thyme oil, they wipe out 99.9% of household germs and viruses (think flu, norovirus, staph) while staying free of bleach, ammonia, and synthetic fragrances. The wipes are impressively thick and durable—none of that flimsy tearing mid-wipe—and they stay super moist even down to the last few in the pack. They glide over counters, light switches, remotes, faucets, and kids' toys, cutting through sticky spots and disinfecting in one go with no streaky mess left behind. The scent? Bright, zesty lemongrass with a clean citrus pop—fresh and invigorating, like a spa day in your kitchen, but never headache-inducing or fake. It's genuinely pleasant and fades nicely, so your home smells clean, not chemical. Bonus: they're biodegradable, plant-based, and kinder to skin (no cracked hands after a wipe-down session). Perfect for busy days when you need fast, effective, eco-conscious cleaning. These are always in my rotation—5/5 stars, total daily hero status unlocked!

They clean dishes very well!

Been slowly switching over to cleaner products at home. These dishwasher packs work very well. They clean our dishes nicely and I don't have to worry about toxic or bad ingredients. I will continue to buy these! These are unscented and have simple clean packaging.

Yes please!

Prego always has constant consistency with every batch. Basically it's a never fail batch every bottle! The smell and taste is great quality which you come to expect when buying Prego! The aftertaste is there, as everyone is always getting seconds! Yum 😋

Best dishwasher pods

I've been using seventh generation dishwasher pods for years now. I went through so many brands and struggled with residue on my dishes. Not with seventh generation! No residue, sparkling dishes, great value for price. My new go to. Never turning back!

Always leaves powder behind

I love Seventh Generation's products usually, but I've been using these packs for quite some time and I find I have to rinse out my glasses before use. Even with rinse aid there is always powdery residue left on my dishes and strainers (particularly on the top rack). I'm curious about the toxicity of accidentally ingesting this residue if I don't rinse my dishes before using. Any answers?

Doesn't clean dishes. Leaves Residue

I bought this a few weeks back because I love every other Seventh Generation product. This one, however, is the least effective of them all. My dishes haven't been getting clean, even if I prewash them, and the packets leave a powdery residue on everything. I've tried doing lighter loads as well as trying with different wash cycles (light, medium, heavy), all with the same results.

I bought this product as a healthier choice. Since using the clean and clear pods, my new Bosch dishwasher has terrible soap scum build up and looks terrible. I am hoping to get it off with white vinegar rinse. This never happened with the toxic cascade.

Ruins dishes

I literally used this one time and it ruined half of my dishes. My glasses, tupperware, and silverware are completely caked in white residue. I tried re-washing them in the dishwasher with cascade, and hand washing with vinegar and baking soda with no luck. the inside of our dishwasher is now covered in the white residue as well. So frustrating that using ONE pod just cost me over 150 dollars to replace my dishes. Do not buy, and this honestly turned me off from the company as we use laundry detergent and dryer sheets, soap, baby products etc. Do not buy!

White residue on anything plastic

I made the mistake of purchasing these again. I realize that after using and wants that they leave white residue on anything that is plastic. In reading these reviews I saw that 7th generation responded to someone actually said to try using half a packet. That seems like ridiculous advice. How in the world would you use half a packet? Defeats the purpose of having the convenient pre-measured packets.

Pods are covered in PVA (aka plastic)

I used this product in the past which worked fine but then switched to Blueland pods since they are uncovered/not covered in Poly vinyl Alcohol film plastic. Yes, folks, PVA is plastic, fossil fuel derived & will release microplastics into our water system. As soon as this box Is done I'm going back to Blueland. SG you can do better! Safer choice should remove your certification
