We always use the Seventh Generation Auto Dish Powder, which works great and is very affordable. We received the Seventh Generation Auto Dish Packs for free in exchange for an honest review. I'm glad we got to try them out! I would consider the dish packs to be an acceptable option for the dishwasher. It is "natural," leaves no funky smells, and cleans the dishes pretty well. It might be a nice option for those who like the convenience of a pack, as opposed to pouring out powder or soap/gel, or for a family in which children might be helping to start the dish washer (and don't regulate the amount of soap/gel poured in too well yet). It might be a nice option for traveling (as when one stays in an airbnb place where there is a dishwasher available); carrying little packs as opposed to loose powder is much more appealing. We did notice that the first time we used the packs there was a residue left on the dishes (kind of powdery-feeling :P ) and a slight smell (not a chemical scent, but a slight "ick" smell, though I will admit that I am very particular about scents in our home ;) ). That initially turned me off from the packs, but we kept trying them out, and by the second or third pack and dishwasher cycle we went through, our clean dishes emerged from the dishwasher; they once again looked similar to how they come out when we have used the powder. I honestly will probably not buy these packs often, because the powder seems much more affordable (I think it's nearly $5 cheaper for more product) and is not difficult to use. But it is nice to know there are other "safe" options available for our beloved household appliance, the dishwasher. ;) .

These do exactly what is needed. They clean the dishes, don't leave any good residue, or water stains. I appreciate this healthier alternative to other dish washer pods. They are a little more pricey than regular dish washer pots, but I think they are worth it.

My city uses treated river water for home consumption and I often end up with residue on my dishes after they've had a spin in the dishwasher. However, after using this product once, I don't see that familiar film. Nobody likes washing dishes after they've been in the dishwasher either. This is good !

I received this product for free to review; all opinions are my own. I have used natural dishwasher products before and generally felt that I had to sacrifice performance for environmental friendliness. I always went back to conventional dishwasher packs because what's the point in using a natural cleaner if I have to hand wash all of my dishes afterwards anyway? I was pleasantly surprised by Seventh Generation's Auto Dish Packs. All of my dishes came out sparkling clean with no leftover food or soap residue, even my glasses, casserole pans, and macaroni and cheese pots. I don't scrub, rinse, or pre-soak my dishes before loading the dishwasher and I don't use any rinse aid, yet my dishes came out perfectly clean. I love that there are no fragrances and that the formulation is biodegradable. I am extremely pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

This is a really good brand, especially for cleaning agents. It leaves dishes sparkling clean with no residue after drying. The packaging is nice, and the version I purchased is unscented. Plant-based and safe for everyday use, it's definitely a must-have in the kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed how how well these dishwasher packs clean dishes! Every time I use them my dishes come of clean. It even cleans hard, stuck on food from dishes. I also love that they don't have any scent.

I've honestly never been much of a pack type of person or pods but I tried these out and love them! I got a free sample in exchange for an honest review and I honestly really like these. It was so nice on days when I just needed to get dishes done asap to not even have to worry about pouring out a certain amount of detergent, just toss in the little pack and turn on the dishwasher. Poof! Done! It got my dishes completely clean!

This was my first time trying seventh generation dishwasher detergent pods and I LOVED them. We try to use clean products in our house and will now be making the switch from our previous dish detergent to seventh generation pods. My dishes came out so clean and there was no gross film or smell. Huge fan.

I received a free product for the purpose of my review. Opinions are 100% my own. Compared to similar products I feel this works much better and is safer for my family! I have had issues with other brands packs that never dissolve in the wash cycle and not once did I have this problem with seventh generation! Love the scent as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Free and clear everything! Great eco friendly packaging and product. Gets my plates and silverware squeaky clean with no residue or scent. Who wants to eat off a plate that smells like soap? Not me! 🙋🏻‍♀️
