My Nespresso machine that I have been using for over seven years now died on me all of a sudden so this was a perfect time to receive this espresso machine. I feel like I am at a coffee shop every morning when I brew my coffee it is a little difficult to get used to but overall once you get the hang of it it's really fun and I love having people over to try the amazing espresso that I brew for them!!

However, I do have one main issue with the machine. I'm not sure if mine is defective or not but none of the drinks come out hot. No matter what I do, they're always lukewarm, even with the setting on the hottest option. Other than that I really enjoy it I just wish it would produce actual hot drinks

It has 13 one-touch recipes and the availability for 3 user profiles to make multiple beverages. You can use milk or milk alternatives in the milk carafe to create frothy foam, and it has the option to grind your own coffee beans. Not into coffee? You can use it for hot water to make tea or hot chocolate! The best part is that the pieces are dishwasher safe! Set up was easy and their website has helpful videos to walk you through the initial steps and for troubleshooting. My brother works at a coffee shop and commented that the espresso came out perfect! I like that you can use milk alternatives and it still creates a nice foam. I used lactose free milk and it worked just as well as regular milk. I look forward to experimenting and trying new recipes!

I love coffee and big fan of a good cup of espresso! Most espresso machines are really involved and take a lot of effort to use. De'Longhi has taken the effort out and still give you that delicious full flavor in every cup, whether it be espresso, cappuccino, coffee or the many other options it comes packed with! You can add grounds or beans an it will grind and brew and dump in a easy to empty compartment. Another awesome function is the self cleaning process to make sure it's clean and ready to go at all times. Brewing process is very quick, either grounds or beans it waste no time to get you a nice delicious cup of liquid gold! I again will say it is extremely pricey for a machine at first glance but I promise you it is worth every bit and more. They have engineered and designed a beautiful machine that gives you high quality output of any variation of coffee you can think of with the only effort by you is to pick the coffee grounds/beans and make sure water compartment has water in it!

It is super easy to clean as it pretty much does everything by itself at the touch of a button. My favorite part of this machine is that the components are all easy to wash, just by soaking them in some warm soapy water and rinsing. It is also awesome that before you brew a cup of coffee, the machine does a quick rinse cycle to ensure that your coffee is the best quality possible (My wife and I have a small mason jar right next to the machine to catch the water for the rinsing process). The most important thing to remember is adjusting the grind knob while the machine is actually grinding beans for your perfect cup. Do not make adjustments without the components moving in the grinding process. Highly recommend to anyone who really considers themselves a coffee connoisseur.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, this is an amazing machine! It is relatively simple to use and fully customizable. I love that I can make many fancy cups of coffee with ease. Espresso machines have always been intimidating to me because they have so many gadgets, but this really takes the guess work out of it. I also like that it is a nice compact size. Some espresso machines seem like they need an entire coffee bar, but this fits perfectly on my countertop. I have just a few reasons I rated this four stars instead of five. One reason is because I had trouble getting my coffee beans to grind properly. I filled the machine, yet I kept receiving an error message that I was out of beans even though it was full. I referred back to the directions and there was nothing to advise me what to do. I even looked up a DeLonghi video to find something and I still had trouble. I ended up using a small kebab stick to move the beans around and then it started working, but I have received that error a few times. I just wish the directions gave some advice on that issue. The other issue I found was that I did not feel like my espresso or doppio had as much crema as I would have thought there would be. It is a very, very thin layer. Aside from those few issues, this is an absolutely amazing machine that brews great coffee. Not a single note of bitterness. Everything is smooth and delicious.
