Hello potential buyers, Stay away from this coffee maker. The concept of this coffee maker is nice (single cup, multiple cups, K-cup, ground coffee maker), BUT maybe this is the reason it breaks down so quick. The single cup side stopped working 2 months after purchase. Now, I just have a HUGE coffee maker taking up counter space.

Buy the warranty to replace. I’ve been through a couple of these. The K Cup single serve side doesn’t always work. A few times with certain brands, the cup blows apart and you get grounds and water all over your counter. Looking for alternative single serve machines.

I have had this a couple of yesrs now. My only issue is the water reservoir lid, really flimsy and does not lay flat. You have to open the lid all the way to pour the water in and didn't last long. First I had to put a dish on top of the lid to keep it semi-closed, now the lid comes off completely. Still thinking of buying another, exploring other options too.

This thing practically explodes K-cups and spits the grounds all over the counter. There is also no option if you make a pot of coffee and then do say a single k-cup of tea the burner on the pot turns off and no way to turn it back on to keep the pot cool. Not worth the price paid for such poor features. I reached out to support and they want me to pay to return it to them to get a replacement. Maybe its my Amazon mentality but its not fair to me to pay more for something defective. They also recommend an almost complete cleaning after EVERY USE. Especially the K-cup as their needle gets clogged all the time.

We brew one pot each day. The first one last just over one year. The second lasted less than a year. They will not cover the warranty because it was not for residential use....even though we used it just as much as a one would for personal use. The features are great. But plan on having to get it replaced way too soon.

Had mine for under a year and loved it. I had a pot ready to brew and noticed water, thought maybe I overfilled, so no problem. Cleaned up and brewed the pot, wow what a dangerous mess. Out of 12 cups, I got 9 in the pot and 3 cups of hot coffee running everywhere. Went on line to see if Hamilton Beach could offer a solution, but you had to agree to cookies or you could not get any information. Are you kidding?
