The leakproof seal has worked really well for yogurt and juicy fruits. Overall construction is very nice. I was immediately surprised by how heavy this bento lunchbox is when empty. My toddler doesn't really carry their own things to school so this is not an issue. I'd feel bad sending my kindergartner with this lunchbox in their backpack.

I am an adult and purchased this lunchbox for myself. I'm very happy with my purchase! It holds my portion controlled lunch, apart from a couple small snack items that I pack separately. Compatible with several brands of shallow reusable sauce containers, too.

We love the Bentgo steel lunchbox but still in the phase of practicing opening and closing. The box is a bit tight for my 5 year old to open without any adult help. We are hoping that we can loosen it a tiny bit so she can start taking it to school! (Also, we are having hard time finding a cute lunchbag to fit the steel lunchbox. Most cute lunchbags are about an inch too small to fit it)

I really like this lunch box, especially the size of the compartments. Was hoping to love this but the latches are really hard for my 5 year old to use. She had a hard time closing it, and I honestly didn't think it was that easy myself. Keeping it because my husband threw the box away, otherwise I'd return for that reason. It would be nice if it was made more kid friendly! Also, doesn't fit into the average lunch bag.

I purchased the green and blue. There were some inconsistencies between them even though they should have been the same design. The green one clipped on top and the blue one clipped on the bottom. The clips did not seem very secure. I wanted to purchase a bag to go with them, but there were no lunch bags other than the kids prints that would fit them. I ended up returning.

Bentgo's stainless steel lunch box has been a game changer! I love the size of the spaces in this box as it offers the ability to put a full sandwich or pasta lunch on the left side, fruits and veggies in the other spaces. The soft insert offers diversity too when I want to add additional munchables, yogurt, applesauce or granola that can be mixed with another area during lunch. I wish it was slightly deeper so the lid could close more comfortably with a bakery bagel ( Thomas bagels fit fine), however I still believe this is a five star lunch box. I plan to purchase another for my daughter, when and if our older Bengto lunch box wears out.

Overall we really like the stainless steel bentgo, however, the hinges on the blue stainless steel bentgo are different than the pink stainless steel bentgo (ordered at the same time). The cover has to be pulled up and then closed instead of just folded over to close. The clips to secure it closed are also different than the pink (one closes with the clasps attached to the bottom, one has the clasps attached to the top). I'm not sure why they are so different when they are the same style, but the pink is significantly easier to close, which is disappointing since the blue is for my younger son so it will be trickier for him to use.

I love this bentgo lunch box. This lunch box is easy for kids to open, the compartments are big enough for main meals and snacks and it truly does not leak! I've searched a long time for a stainless steel lunch box that worked for my kiddos and this is perfect.

The clasps are very flimsy and it is very heavy. Also much bigger than the plastic ones which means I needed to also purchase the specific Bentgo lunchboxes, and could no longer use the lunch boxes I have. The compartments are big but I was hoping it would be more like the plastic one, but stainless steel.

My son selected this box after telling me the blue bentgo kids box was “for little kids.” This is the perfect next box. I mealprep his lunches, and this is super easy to organize a healthy(ish) lunch that he can easily open. This week I included pizza sauce for dipping in one of the compartments, and it seems to be staying in its spot without spilling into the other sections. Score! Only challenge is it is a *little* bit too big for our Pottery Barn lunchbox. It fits, just not easily.
