The stainless steel interior looks nice but the lunch box is very large and heavy. One of the main issues is the the exterior of the plain stainless steel model gets covered in fingerprints so easily which makes it look dirty all the time. The options with colored surfaces have a lot of review noting the pain getting chipped easily but some sort of silicone cover at least on the top surface would look so much nicer. The second issue is that it's very difficult for a child to close the box properly. You have to pull the cover out slightly before you close it in order for it to shut completely and a 5 year old may have a hard time doing that.

We love our silver stainless steel lunch box! My son brought it with him during his first week of in-person learning and enjoyed all the different sized compartments and I am never worried that he will go hungry while at school b/c it holds so much food! Easy to clean and store away.

I bought the stainless still lunchbox because I was looking for a safe container to put my children's food. The lunchbox itself is really cute and I love the bento box situation but, unfortunately the top coat is peeling off, and we have only had the lunchbox's for less than a month now, even when I hand wash them. For Thai reason I wouldn't recommend the product

Great lunchbox!! I purchased this to replace the Bentgo Kids Chill Lunchbox my son had. The clasp to close it broke. But the good news is it was covered under warranty so Bentgo graciously replaced it and now we have two options. I can't recommend these lunch boxes enough and the fact that the company is true to their word/product makes it all the better!!

Great lunch box. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the lid is difficult to latch close. You have to make sure it is aligned just right and press down to latch. Little difficult for smaller kids. Other than that it is great. Wish it had more divider options.

After using the product for a week here are the pros and cons thus far. Pros: -Our son that just started kindergarten likes it! -Cleans well. -Seems very secure. -Positive experience with Bentgo support so far. Cons: -It is a bit heavy. We think it is too heavy for our very petite daughter that is almost 3 and a half. -On the big side. We needed to get the Bentgo lunch bag, to save space and possibly weight maybe the 2 in 1 backpack might've been an option to look into in retrospect?

The leakproof seal has worked really well for yogurt and juicy fruits. Overall construction is very nice. I was immediately surprised by how heavy this bento lunchbox is when empty. My toddler doesn't really carry their own things to school so this is not an issue. I'd feel bad sending my kindergartner with this lunchbox in their backpack.

I'm glad I switched to stainless steel because I'm trying to cut out how many plastics we use, especially plastic used for food handling. One thing is that these bentgo are a bit too thin. My kids often take bagels to school and I have to squeeze and push to get it to shut with a bagel inside.

Love this box. Got rid of another brand name metal box because it just wasn't working for our needs. The best alternative to a plastic lunchbox. Love the size. Compartments are perfect for both children's needs. Can't say enough about the leak resistance! That was a major deciding factor in choosing this box.

The clasps are very flimsy and it is very heavy. Also much bigger than the plastic ones which means I needed to also purchase the specific Bentgo lunchboxes, and could no longer use the lunch boxes I have. The compartments are big but I was hoping it would be more like the plastic one, but stainless steel.
