What I love about this lunch box is the stainless steel that's easy to wash and good for the environment. I bought two for my 4 yr old and 7 yr old, hoping they can use them for many years. What I have discovered is that they are very heavy, especially for my 4 year old to carry in a backpack everyday. My 7 year old complains that there is no handle so it's hard to carry it to the lunchroom. And lastly, because there is no room for an ice-pack, if send cheese or hummus it is warm by the time the kids have lunch and they won't eat it.

These are wonderful. We have only ever used the bentgo chill but the thought of the plastic every day kind of started to get to me. These are larger but can fit in the same lunch box diagonally a bit and an ice pack under them and they're cold all day!

Great lunchbox, doesn't leak! - have bought one for each of my kids. I wish wish my daughter hadn't accidentally thrown the silicone container in the trash when she cleaned up her lunch. Would be nice to have a few of the silicone containers included :)

Overall we really like the stainless steel bentgo, however, the hinges on the blue stainless steel bentgo are different than the pink stainless steel bentgo (ordered at the same time). The cover has to be pulled up and then closed instead of just folded over to close. The clips to secure it closed are also different than the pink (one closes with the clasps attached to the bottom, one has the clasps attached to the top). I'm not sure why they are so different when they are the same style, but the pink is significantly easier to close, which is disappointing since the blue is for my younger son so it will be trickier for him to use.

We bought these for our kids because they're made from non-toxic materials. It's hard to find stainless containers for kids. I love the size and design, though the lid has to be lined up a certain way to close properly. My only real complaint is that the stainless is a bit heavy for little kids, but we manage. It's worth it for the peace of mind.

We love the Bentgo Kids Stainless Steel Lunch Box and have used it for years. It's durable, easy to clean, and holds up incredibly well. We've always paired it with the Bentgo Kids Prints Lunch Bag, which is the perfect size and shape for this box, the fit is spot on. The only issue is that our kids are now teenagers, and the playful prints are no longer teen-approved, especially for boys. We really wish Bentgo offered this same exact bag in sleek, single-color, teen-friendly designs. Finding another bag that fits this box as well has been surprisingly difficult. Great product — just hoping for more mature color options for the lunch bag!

This lunchbox is amazing! We have had the plastic Bentgo lunch boxes in the past and after a school year of dish washes the plastic warped just enough to make it hard to put back together. This stainless steel is the perfect solution! No warping, and the configuration inside works best for my kindergarteners lunches!

We just got this and it's roomy and sleek, it generally does an ok job.... but our daughter is reporting that the clasps will often pop open if she drops or bumps her backpack. Maybe it's because we're "overpacking it" but the only thing we've packed that's too wide for the depth of the box has been a hardboiled egg. That give you an idea of the room on this thing. TL;DR Good size width and length, but depth it lacking and the clasps cause it to open too easily

So far, so great! I bought 2 of these for my daughters (ages 3 and 6). We're now entering the 3rd week of school and the girls love them. They fit the right amount of food for lunch and so far no leaking. The hinges have held up fine, and the girls are able to open them independently. We had fun customizing them with the water proof stickers they sell for water bottles.

I like the lunchbox. I prefer stainless over plastic, and I chose to try it because it is leak resistant, unlike our Planetbox. It is an overall nice design, though it does have some plastic parts. It is a bit heavy, and the suction makes it somewhat difficult to open, but it doesn't leak! The compartments are a bit awkward, I definitely prefer the spaces on Planetbox over this one. It works well without leaking, holds a variety of food, and is better than plastic.
