my six and nine year old love this lunchbox. It makes it more fun for them to make lunch in the morning and reminds them about what portions of each food is enough. Its a little heavy in their backpacks - especially with the insulated outer shell and the cool pack but they don't seem to care at all. It's also REALLY durable.

Bought this for my young toddler for preschool. I have been searching for a stainless steel option for awhile with no luck and this seems to be the best I've found. So glad bentgo started making stainless options! It is Larger and heavier than expected and will not fit inside our current lunchbox (pottery barn kids.) But that's really the only downside. I would recommend this to anyone trying to get away from all the plastic options!

Bentgo's stainless steel lunch box has been a game changer! I love the size of the spaces in this box as it offers the ability to put a full sandwich or pasta lunch on the left side, fruits and veggies in the other spaces. The soft insert offers diversity too when I want to add additional munchables, yogurt, applesauce or granola that can be mixed with another area during lunch. I wish it was slightly deeper so the lid could close more comfortably with a bakery bagel ( Thomas bagels fit fine), however I still believe this is a five star lunch box. I plan to purchase another for my daughter, when and if our older Bengto lunch box wears out.

I am an adult and purchased this lunchbox for myself. I'm very happy with my purchase! It holds my portion controlled lunch, apart from a couple small snack items that I pack separately. Compatible with several brands of shallow reusable sauce containers, too.

This box is great for my hungry 3 year-old and I've had no issues with its functionality. Only problem is that he goes to a Montessori school that puts emphasis on the kids carrying their own lunches into and out of the school and this, plus the ice packs, plus the lunch bag (all bentgo) is too heavy for him to manage on his own (at least without major resistance and complaining) and is causing a bit of an issue. Not something I thought about, so just flagging for anyone who might face a similar issue! Wish bentgo made an insulated backpack that's just for the lunch box (so smaller than the ones they make) as this box is unfortunately too big for the only ones I've been able to find on the market.

We love our silver stainless steel lunch box! My son brought it with him during his first week of in-person learning and enjoyed all the different sized compartments and I am never worried that he will go hungry while at school b/c it holds so much food! Easy to clean and store away.

Great lunch box. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the lid is difficult to latch close. You have to make sure it is aligned just right and press down to latch. Little difficult for smaller kids. Other than that it is great. Wish it had more divider options.

Great lunchbox!! I purchased this to replace the Bentgo Kids Chill Lunchbox my son had. The clasp to close it broke. But the good news is it was covered under warranty so Bentgo graciously replaced it and now we have two options. I can't recommend these lunch boxes enough and the fact that the company is true to their word/product makes it all the better!!

The stainless steel interior looks nice but the lunch box is very large and heavy. One of the main issues is the the exterior of the plain stainless steel model gets covered in fingerprints so easily which makes it look dirty all the time. The options with colored surfaces have a lot of review noting the pain getting chipped easily but some sort of silicone cover at least on the top surface would look so much nicer. The second issue is that it's very difficult for a child to close the box properly. You have to pull the cover out slightly before you close it in order for it to shut completely and a 5 year old may have a hard time doing that.

I love this bentgo lunch box. This lunch box is easy for kids to open, the compartments are big enough for main meals and snacks and it truly does not leak! I've searched a long time for a stainless steel lunch box that worked for my kiddos and this is perfect.
