We have had several bentgo kids plastic lunch boxes for years and have loved them. However, we bough the teal stainless steel lunchbox in Dec 2022 (11 months ago) and the teal finish is peeling off. Our other lunchboxes from bentgo have lasted for years, so I don't believe we're being hard on them. We wash this one in the same dishwasher 1-2x per week. Our daughter keeps it in an bentgo insulated lunchbox and we've asked her not to peel or pick at it. If you're interested in buying this model, I recommend the silver (non-coated) option. Other than the coating coming off the lunchbox works great. It has good-sized compartments and hasn't leaked.

We've been avid bentgo users for some time now. After a couple of years, the first ones we bought got so much mold that we didn't feel safe using them, so we decided to try out the metal ones. For kids, they are a bit heavy, but they seem to not get moldy as fast. Bentgo customer service sent some helpful tips to mitigate the mold (vinegar, cling wrap) which was very helpful. Like many metal surfaces, the color on the front wears off after the abuse my kids give it. While not perfect, I would still buy again.

I bought the original Bentgo for my kids when they started elementary school. They loved them because each snack had its own spot and they didn't have to get up to throw away trash! Parents that prefer to buy in bulk will love these! Less waste is better for the planet!! Now that my kids are older, they love this new Bentgo because it looks more mature! The stainless steal is awesome too!! Easy to clean and overall the best lunchbox out there!!

We've had this lunchbox for awhile now and my kid loves it. It fits a good amount of food (more than he usually finishes), and I really like how it keeps the food separated. The latches in my opinion could be improved as they tend to pop open more easily that I would like, however they are easy enough for my 5 year old to open and close, and as he is the one using the lunchbox then we'll deal. :) Other plus's is that Bentgo makes a bunch of lunch box "cases" with fun designs for the kids, and ice packs that fit perfectly in for a complete set thats easy for my kiddo to take off to school. Overall very happy with this product.

I bought this recently after having the Planetbox launch for a few years. I love the range of colour options so I can differentiate between the various lunchboxes for my children and also so they can feel like individuals with different tastes. It's a good size for primary school children and the bento-style means I can pack a variety of foods. Unlike the planetbox, it's leak-proof too, which is very hard to find with stainless steel lunchboxes.

We have 4 kids that are under 6 years old. We have been looking for stainless steel lunch boxes that don't leak. We finally found the answer! These lunchboxes are perfect for my 6 year Olds kindergarten lunch as well as packing lunches for our four kiddos for he day at the park, pool it zoo. The leakproof component is key! We have tried juicy watermelon and pasta and sauce with NO leaks! I highly recommend this product!

We've tried many different bento style lunch boxes and weren't really ever happy with any of them until we found this one! It's big enough for even my bigger kiddos appetites and it's leak proof! I can put yogurt in these without spilling! These are perfect! You won't need to look any further than these!
