With 3 kids, I've tried lots of different lunch box/bento box options -- BentGo Stainless Steel is by FAR the best we've ever used. They are seemingly indestructible, dishwasher safe, easy open/close for little hands and just the right amount of space for lunch.

My daughter has been using this lunch box for over a year and it still looks brand new. My only request would be to sell the silicone cup as a replacement part since it's pretty vital to the functionality. Our daycare misplaced our daughter's and we aren't able to order a new one. It's definitely better to have the 4 compartments that cup provides instead of 3 to separate her food.

What a surprise I found one of my kid's bentgo boxes survived the fire!! What a quality product that protect a few items underneath it! The kids are sad that they lost their lunch boxes and the bags, but they found one favorite book saved by this Bentgo box I wish I can find the other blue stainless bentgo box, but I think got stuck/ burried under melted plastic inside the back seating area. Thank you again for inventing a great product that well deserve 5 stars or more..

We have had several bentgo kids plastic lunch boxes for years and have loved them. However, we bough the teal stainless steel lunchbox in Dec 2022 (11 months ago) and the teal finish is peeling off. Our other lunchboxes from bentgo have lasted for years, so I don't believe we're being hard on them. We wash this one in the same dishwasher 1-2x per week. Our daughter keeps it in an bentgo insulated lunchbox and we've asked her not to peel or pick at it. If you're interested in buying this model, I recommend the silver (non-coated) option. Other than the coating coming off the lunchbox works great. It has good-sized compartments and hasn't leaked.

I bought this for a kindergarten. It was used daily and is still in great shape. With an ice pack it keeps the lunch cold in the hot school. It is a little heavy but doable. I needed something durable because of food allergies we use it a ton. This has exceeded my expectations

I am always looking for stainless steel products for our food and beverages. Finally found a lunch box for kids. My son is a picky eater and I think compartmentalizing helps him be a better eater. Perhaps it's a visual thing. Anyway this product has the stainless steel feature I was looking for and the cute compartments. I can safely put piping hot food directly into his lunch box worry free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned quite a few bento boxes before they are leak proof well made and high quality but this one is great as in its stainless steel I generally prefer the same for kids. Its heavier than the regular box and has nice mix of compartments to pack everything the little one needs. Will be buying more

I bought two of these for my kids' school lunches. They're a great size for them and they really do not leak at all. We've had a few issues, but costumer service has replaced the boxes under their warranty. The only downside, is that they are a bit heavy for my 5 and 4 year old. But they are stainless steel so I guess that's the trade off for not using plastic.

We have had these for several months now and they hold up great. I love stainless over plastic for obvious reasons, especially for my children. Sometimes the handles that open it up are slightly hard for them to get open, but the rest of it makes up for it. I love the little compartment and the little silicone container that comes with it.

My 4yo has been using her Bentgo stainless steel lunchbox for ~1.5years and we are very happy with this purchase. I've also recommended this lunchbox to my mom friends and my daughter's classmates, and they too have been happy with their purchases. Pros: - It is a great *leakproof* stainless steel lunchbox (although we really haven't tested with anything super liquidy or soupy). - The lunchbox is durable -- we have not had any paint issues with the grey one. I avoided the colored ones because of the paint issues that I've seen in other reviews. There is a small dent on the lid but it doesn't impact the functionality and we covered it with a waterproof sticker. For what it's worth, we only handwash this lunchbox. - I like the option for 3-4 compartments (as opposed to other lunchboxes with multiple compartments). Each compartment holds a good amount of food. - Great customer service -- responded quickly to address the back hinge coming off. Cons: - The lunchbox is a bit heavy -- but I think this comes with any stainless steel containers. - The front latches were a bit challenging for small hands, but at 4yo, my daughter is able to open and close this by herself. (A friend said that the newer version of this container is easier to open though.) - One of the back hinge came off -- but customer service was great and responded quickly to address the issue (I hope the newer version also addresses this). Overall, I recommend this lunchbox. I don't think you'll be disappointed!
