[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the size of this player, it's nice and small and it doesn't take up much space. It plays both dvd and blu-ray discs and has nice picture quality. I will say, it requires an hdmi cable to connect to the TV, but it does not include one in the box which is a bit of an inconvenience. The setup is quite easy, I had no issues with connectivity or once playing the discs, and batteries for the remote are included. The player has streaming capabilities but it uses a wired connection, so an ethernet cable is needed to connect to the internet. I personally don't mind as I will mostly use it to play blu-rays, but if you would like to use the streaming features, keep that in mind because Sony does offer a wireless version as well.

I did not notice this upon first glance, so be prepared to use an ethernet cable to access internet. Unfortunately, I could not test the internet functions since I do not have a television near my modem/router and I cannot move my cable modem to a different spot. Other than that, it is a DVD player and it works fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't let the small size fool you. This Blu-ray disc player is made by trusted company Sony and is packed with features. The only thing this small package lacks is an HDMI cable. After purchasing a cable, we hooked it up to our ethernet and voila, we have a great picture! The picture is clear and colors are good. We have since unhooked from the ethernet and connected it to our tv as a blu-ray player only, since we have a smart tv with streaming built in. The remote is included, as well as pre-loaded software apps for Netflix, etc.

Has a few apps on it too like You tube or Netflix so of course we come to the main issue. you have to hardwire it to the internet there is no WiFi built in. In this day and age why would it not. It works great though with great picture quality so that's what matter most. They love it so I am happy.

Does what it's supposed to do with ease of set up and use, great color delivery, superior Dolby HD audio output. Great addition for those times I need a disc player.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Sony Blu Ray disc player and I'm not absolutely thrilled with it. I thought it was WiFi compatible but it's not. You have to have an Ethernet cable in order to stream with it. Unfortunately my router is in my office and it's to far away for that. It does have a good picture and I can still use it for my DVD player so I'm good with that. I would recommend it however, I think it should be made clearer that it's not WiFi compatible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The price this Blu-Ray DVD is a really good deal! Switching between scenes was incredibly fast and seamless. The apps that are installed worked fast without stuttering or freezing. So far I am very happy with the Sony Blu-ray Disc Player.

She loves being able to watch movies from our movie collection and also stream shows on Netflix and YouTube. It's super easy to use and was easy to connect. You can watch regular dvds and blue Ray. I would recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a non smart tv in my bonus room. We have one Blue Ray player in the house and it was a pain to move it from room to room. I got this player for the internet ability and blue ray playback. Set up was easy and on screen instructions were simple to follow. The size is average for a Blue Ray player. It does not take up a lot room. Having the Netflix/Youtube apps is such a treat since the tv did not have it. The player does not have a noisy motor and is quiet. The remote works well and the buttons are labeled well.
