[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great blu-ray player of all you want is it for movie playing features. The picture is great, it is very easy to setup, load time was very quick and it is very responsive to the remote with no lag time. If you want it for the smart features (Netflix, Hulu, etc) be advised that it requires to be wired directly to your router. It does not have WiFi capabilities, which I unfortunately overlooked when I got it, so make sure it will be used close to your router in order to wire it. The TV I am using this blu-ray player on is upstairs while my router is downstairs, so unfortunately I am not able to use these features so I cannot comment on them. Excellent blu-ray player but disappointing that it does not have WiFi capabilities.

This not only fits better on my tv stand but it looks cool with the surrounding decor. Picture looks great on my tv. Way more colorful it seems. Loving using this and can recommend.

I like the ability to use it to not only play DVD's , but to also stream Netflix , and such . Very handy to have if you are dealing with a non smart TV. Great little unit . Picture quality is excellent ,and does everything I need it to do .

You can also stream movie services like Netflix on it. I did not even know a blu ray player was capable to stream online. It has great picture quality. It also is easy to set up and use. I also like that if you do not want to run it off of WiFi you can use an either net cord with it. The remote has easy to use functions and I love it. It is also very durable material it is made out of. It's is perfect for a movie buff person. I love this product and recommend anyone and everyone to get one.

Now I have been able to declutter all the other separate ones I had. Love that I can stream from this player directly. Great Sony quality I've come to expect! Easy to install and use and good quality picture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Without realizing it over the past several years I've come down to only having tech products that don't include any sort of tangible access to movies like with a DVD or Blu-ray which has become a problem for me whenever I find a great one on sale as a disc but not digitally. Thankfully this disc player solved the problem with not only giving crisp detailed video quality but combined with direct access to Netflix and Youtube so I can continue streaming on the same device without having to switch. Would highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Blu-Ray Disc player was simple to set up so anyone with any level of technology experience can easily use this player. The picture/sound quality is really good. I also appreciate its lightweight and slim design as it doesn't take up too much space near our television. Another plus is the usb connection However, be aware that this player is NOT WiFi ready. This particular model must be directly plugged into your modem. And the cable isn't included with this product. So, unfortunately, you'll have some extra work cut out for yourself if you're planning on using this in a room that isn't where your modem is housed. The other drawback is although you can stream Netflix and YouTube from this device, you cannot stream other services like Disney+ or Prime. Your apps are limited to only what comes with this player and other than the two previously mentioned, the others are pretty obscure in my opinion.

The setup consisted of a few minutes of following simple prompts to set the language and to skip setting up the internet connection. I'm using this just as a blu-ray/dvd player and not taking advantage of any streaming features, but it is nice to know they're there if I ever want to use them. I love that this has no clock and that the front panel only has a power and an eject button. Beautiful simplicity. Sure, it makes life a little more traumatic if you lose the remote, but that is what universal remotes are for. The remote control follows a design Sony has been using for a decade or more and it is also quite simple, which is exactly what I was after. If you just want a blu-ray/dvd player without all the frills and buttons and settings and gizmos... this is a pretty great unit
