Sadly neither me with three earned doctorates, nor my retired teacher wife are smart enough to figure it out. With the pandemic raging and home time expanding we really wanted to enjoy netflcks and red box blue ray dvds. The Sony Blu ray disc player with smart features eliminated the ignorance zone and now we enjoy the netflicks streaming service and rental dvds too.

I also love the fact that it can be connected to the internet and you can stream certain apps off of it!! I wish, I would have known this was a thing! I would have had one, years ago!! Not only does it play Blu Ray, it also plays regular DVD's, music CD's, AND you can use an ethernet cable to connect it to the internet. Where you can pull up Netflix, YouTube, plus much more! I love it! So convenient and easy to use. It even comes with a remote! This is wonderful for family time or if I want to listen to music and jam out. Such great quality!

The remote is super easy to navigate. And setting up the Blu-Ray to TV was so easy. Sony is a great brand so it will last forever and this is a great Blu-Ray. Highly recommended.

The picture quality was perfect and the setup was super quick and easy. Missed using my blu-rays. It was great watching old movies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy set up. You will need an hdmi cable because it doesn't come with one. I love that it will play things from a hard drive as well as dvd's. Even better that it has netflix installed on it so no need for a separate device to watch.
