[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with this Sony Blu-ray Disc player the graphics was great ,it does have you tube and next flies whoever if you have a roku tv it won't connect to the TV it has to be a regular tv other than that it plays great !!!

I love that I can watch my regular DVDs and Blu-ray discs from the same piece of equipment. I love all of the apps that are pre-installed with this product as well makes it easy to switch from one to the other. Also with the new triluminos display, it makes viewing more enjoyable.

The picture is beautiful and the machine itself works exactly as described we haven't had a single issue with it.

The Sony Ble Ray Disc player has all the sleekness and quality Sony is famous for!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice little Blu-Ray player! Having a streaming option on it is nice, because it allows me to use one device instead of hooking up a Roku or Fire Stick to my TV. Easy to hook up, easy to use and has a smooth and modern look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned several blu-ray players and have found the BDPS1700 to be above average. A quickstart is something I have always come to appreciate in blu-ray players and this one is fairly quick. Installation was quick and easy and the picture quality is on par the other top blu-ray players on the market. We have a smart tv so are not able to take advantage of some of the streaming options, but this would be fantastic if you didn't own a smart tv. There are some bulky aspects like the remote and power-pack, but I can hide the power pack in my console and I programmed the player to our universal remote, so no issues there!

It's way better features that an older Blu ray disc player, easy to hook up, and easy to use. I didn't expect it to be so nice when I ordered it but I'm going to buy another for the guest room soon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a basic Blu-ray disc player. It is capable of streaming, but needs to be connected to the internet by ethernet cable. It is not wireless. That is absolutely fine with me, that's exactly what I wanted. I have a ton of other devices that I can stream wirelessly through. I just needed a basic Blu-ray/DVD player and this one was an excellent choice. I have a bunch of older DVDs, like from the early aughts, when DVDs were still a new thing, and they look great on this Blu-ray player. The upscaling definitely helps. It's easy to set up, easy to use, has a remote, and looks nice on my TV stand. It's a solid Blu-ray disc player.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A perfect addition to our hometheater. This is not just a bluray and a disc player but also can connect to the internet and use netflix and youtube which helps with not having toget another machine for those uses.

The only downside was having to use a wired internet connection to stream netflix on it. Not too big of a hassle because the room I use it in is where the internet router is. You do need to supply your own cord for wired internet. I have played cds, dvds, and blu ray discs on it and they all play well.
