[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this disc player is great i hooked it up and it was easy to set up once i did i was able to watch some movies in my bedroom i also could use it for netflix the graph on it is wonderful the botton are use to use and you can also et it or a timer on and off

The ability to connect to the internet to and use streaming services is nice, but I have to wonder if it's really necessary. Don't most TVs that people play blu rays on have this option built in? That aside, the player works as you would expect and is of the quality you would expect from Sony.

It's allows a hard wire connection to the internet so I don't have to worry about connection stability. I also love the streaming apps that are already there just in case I'm not in the mood to play an actually Blu-ray Disc. I would definitely recommend!

My husband who is far from tech savvy can use it without threatening to throw it out the door so many features my 4 year old loves watching his movies and will be surprised to receive some more for Christmas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this Sony Blu-ray Disc Player for a couple weeks now and I have to say that this is one of the best little machines that we have used. It was ready to use right out of the box, even the batteries for the remote! The picture quality is fantastic, I can't believe the difference in each movie. The colors are so much brighter. YouTube, Netflix and Prime are also on this all that is needed was the Ethernet cable. I love this little player and think that you will too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You get basically a bluray player. It will play the disc just like a regular player would. It is pretty straight forward to set up and the interface is userfriendly. I would say that it is just it is. I am missing features as simple as you can't add apps to it like those found in Google Play for example. So that makes it just a player, just basic. If you are just like my dad, in his 80s, this may be a good thing for you, modern but not updated. Please don't get me wrong, it works, just not something that suited my needs as I found out.

It was quick and easy to setup on my TV, and is compact so that it doesn't take up very much space at all. My old DVD player was bulky and only played DVDs, so this was a major upgrade for me. The picture and sound quality are great with clear images and 1080p resolution. There's also a USB port on the front which allows you to play from a flash drive if you like. You must have your own HDMI cable as it's not included, and it doesn't have built-in wi-fi. You have to connect directly to the internet if you want to access and use the app feature that lets you add apps such as Netflix, YouTube, etc. If you don't have internet capability you can still use the player to play DVDs and Blu-rays. The remote is small and easy to understand and use. Overall this is a really great Blu-ray player that I highly recommend.
