The player is compact so easy to fit in the cabinet I have. So far I like how easy it is to use, since I'm among the older generation.

It was quick and easy to setup on my TV, and is compact so that it doesn't take up very much space at all. My old DVD player was bulky and only played DVDs, so this was a major upgrade for me. The picture and sound quality are great with clear images and 1080p resolution. There's also a USB port on the front which allows you to play from a flash drive if you like. You must have your own HDMI cable as it's not included, and it doesn't have built-in wi-fi. You have to connect directly to the internet if you want to access and use the app feature that lets you add apps such as Netflix, YouTube, etc. If you don't have internet capability you can still use the player to play DVDs and Blu-rays. The remote is small and easy to understand and use. Overall this is a really great Blu-ray player that I highly recommend.

Wired internet connection which i like much faster. I can see all my photos on a large screen instead of the phone. Love the streaming Netflix and YouTube is definitely a plus. I mostly love that I can take this anywhere super super light great for the RV or hotel.

It's been a nice upgrade from our old dvd player and we love being able to watch higher quality blu-ray movies. I love that we can play both dvd's and blu-rays as well on it. We noticed that the disc's load fast and the menu screens respond quickly which has been nice. One drawback we found was Youtube and Netflix (any streaming service) is slow in menus and skipping through videos. Once a video is playing, it will increase in quality and viewing experience is then good. The design is nice, doesn't take up much space and it has a sleek modern look. One thing to keep in mind is that it is wired and not wireless Ethernet, so if you want to watch streaming video or access internet extras on your discs then you'll have to plug in. Overall, my family and I have been enjoying this product and would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the day and age when most people seek to have a full entertainment experience in one device, it is rare to see standalone single function technology, but here we are. If you are looking for a machine to very specifically play Blu-Ray movies, this is a pretty good option. It is small, sleek and will fit in nicely with any setup, however the problem comes in if you are looking for any type of expanded functionality. The player only supports 1080p which in a 4k world is a tad outdated. The player has streaming functionality, however I don't find this to be worth reviewing or mentioning as it requires a hard wired connection, which lets face it, is inconvenient and not what consumers are generally looking for in todays market. If you are specifically looking for a small machine that focuses on playing blu-ray movies only with 1 hdmi output, only capable of 1080p, requires a hard wired connection if you wanted to attempt using the streaming capability, but it is quiet and built well, this is a good choice for you, for most people living outside of 2010, we may be looking for something that is multifunctional that we don't need to worry about ethernet cables to maximize its usefulness.

The remote is super easy to navigate. And setting up the Blu-Ray to TV was so easy. Sony is a great brand so it will last forever and this is a great Blu-Ray. Highly recommended.

It is so easy to use my kids can even work it, the get up every weekend and put in their DVD's so I can sleep in! I like the fact it has WiFi and I can use it to stream and play music as well. It has great picture quality too. I am very pleased with my Sony Blu-Ray Player! Great product in my opinion!

Can also stream Netflix, YouTube and a variety of different streaming services by connection to internet. The only drawback I see is that it's wired so to stream it needs to be next to a modem. But otherwise a nice product to have.
