Placement of the device was a cinch, as its compact size fits virtually anywhere. It was super easy to connect a HDMI cable, and set up a wired ethernet connection. The player is simple to operate, along with its remote control. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

It so easy to connect and extremely easy to operate! I love the compact design as it fits perfectly into a small space! The picture quality and the overall ease of operation is outstanding! With this, my kids can watch Netflix, Prime Video, DVDs or Blurays (since the old Wii doesn't play DVDs). It's pretty easy to use, and we haven't had any issues with it. The unit is small, fits nicely on the shelf without taking up much room. The remote is small and very easy to lose, unfortunately. But that's also a fact of life with kids, I guess. I like that it remembers where we left off if we stop, and come back to a movie later. And I like that the audio/visual quality is good. It does not have wireless internet capability - you'll need to have a place you can plug it in nearby. The description and box are clear about this fact but I still wanted to mention it. It also doesn't come with the HDMI cord you'll want to connect it to your TV.

They were great when they first came out but nowadays streaming/downloading and watching it locally are much more viable as well as 4K and higher resolution being the next wave. However if you are in the market to play your blu ray collection that wont take up much space this may be for you. Setup was extremely easy, just a couple cables plugged and it was ready to go. Im 9nly deducting a star because mine did not come with an HDMI cable which is definitely unacceptable in 2021. It did say it was supposed to come with one so mine could have just been a mistake. Other than that it functioned perfectly.

We love that it's "wired" with the internet so we can also use streaming services as well! Definitely recommend!

It also has wired internet connection which allows you to watch Netflix, YouTube and other services you may have. Set up was quick and easy and the picture is crisp and clear. It is on the smaller side so it doesn't take up too much room and is a great source of entertainment.

Our family has a out of state camp that has internet service, but the wireless service signal isn't very strong. The fact that this is HARD WIRED into my cable box allows me to not only have a blue-ray/DVD player but now I can get Netflix as well. I also like that is is small and doesn't take up a lot of space.
