And the sound and picture quality is spot on. My daughter owns a different brand not sure the name but the sound and picture quality on hers isn't as good as one I have and I like that it's so simple to use. I hooked it right up with the easy step by step direction. I love that you have that theater sound and picture sitting in your home.

The Sony Blue-ray Disc/DVD Player is the perfect size and set-up is quick and easy. The added option to connect a Wired Internet Connection and stream apps like Netflix and YouTube make it even more convienient. You also have the option to watch Blue-ray's in Full HD or upscale DVD's to near-HD quality.

I FOUND IT!! This Sony Blu-ray Disc Player was just what I was looking for. All I had to do was plug it in and then take the HDMI cord from the old one and plug it into this one....Voilà!! I was ready to watch a movie with my kids!! The one downfall is that in order to update the player it has to be attached with a cord other than that I am loving this machine!!

Along with the flexibility of both DVD and blue ray, this player also offers access to Netflix. The player is compact and doesn't take up much room. Its easy to hook up to any video system, which allows one to set it up and play within minutes. Picture quality is superb!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Sony - Blu-ray Disc™ Player about a month ago and I am so glad I did. It was very easy to install. We have watched a few dvds on it and it plays great. Really easy set up and easy to use. I love that it can connect to the internet and stream Netflix.

The disc drive would not open up for us to get a disc out. We used this player for several months. followed all the suggestions in trying to get the drawer open but couldn't. Had to take the unit cover off, then the disc drive top off to get the disc out since the disc is a difficult show our daughter likes and can't find. I was informed that the unit was manufactured Feb 2016, yet the internal sticker INSIDE the unit itself said it was manufactured August 2020. How is that possible? So I was told it would not be under warranty, then I was told it would be and then I was told it wasn't!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with this Sony Blu-ray Disc player the graphics was great ,it does have you tube and next flies whoever if you have a roku tv it won't connect to the TV it has to be a regular tv other than that it plays great !!!

It's way better features that an older Blu ray disc player, easy to hook up, and easy to use. I didn't expect it to be so nice when I ordered it but I'm going to buy another for the guest room soon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony Blu-ray and DVD player is great to watch videos and stream apps on your tv. The quality is pretty great and the kids enjoy watching there favorite shows on Netflix or YouTube. I love that it can stream several different apps or services that everyone can enjoy. The DVD player is easy to set up and use and can put any dvd or blu ray disc in. Comes with a remote and easy to operate. You do need a internet cable connected for WiFi to get your streaming options. Definitely handy to have in any room, great quality and the picture is pretty great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 1st thing my husband commented on was how clear and vivid the picture was. The Sony blueray player is compact and thin which we love. It doesn't take up a gigantic amount of room. So keeping it under flat screen is easy. We were able to figure out setting up but was unable to use our internet because everything (router) is in another room. We do wish this ran off WiFi like our smart TV. Than we could leave where it was for updating and installation of apps like stated. We just can't figure out how to. Do it plugged in to our router with no means of a TV next to it. It's fine though because we have the same apps. On our TV. The remote programed our TV in seconds.. just holding both TV and remote control on buttons. So now the blueray player remote controls sound and on and off also. I used an HDMI cord from player to TV . As mentioned, the setup was easy, nothing difficult at all. And was literally plug and play ready. I have tried to add photos but all keep saying they are too big. We really like this player and Sony has always been a name we trust in electronics.
