I have a much larger one in my living room so this compact size was perfect for their room. The price was great for something that could potentially be ruined. As an added bonus now the boys can watch Netflix in their room as well. They had no problem figuring out how to work it which is nice too.

I still have many DVDs that I really enjoy watching and I appreciate that it comes with access to Netflix and YouTube, two apps that I frequent. And it allows me not to have to buy another device, like Roku, to access them.

It comes with a remote and even includes the batteries. You connect it to your TV using a HDMI Cable. It also comes with the AC adapter. Once it's all connected and you turn on the player, wait for a short while and the player turns on and starts. Playable discs are Blu-Ray Disc, DVD, and CDs. Various settings and playback operations are available by pressing options on the remote. The Sony Blu-Ray Disc player comes with a one year limited warranty once you register it. You're able to play a disc, play from a USB Device, or via a network. Playable types of files for this Sony Blu-Ray Disc Player are MPEG-1 and MPEG -2 Video, Xvid, MPEG4/AVC, VC1, WMV9 andMotion JPEG. Power requirements are 12 V DC with AC adaptor. The remote is super easy to navigate. And setting up the Blu-Ray to TV was so easy. Sony is a great brand so it will last forever and this is a great Blu-Ray. Highly recommended.

I also love the fact that it can be connected to the internet and you can stream certain apps off of it!! I wish, I would have known this was a thing! I would have had one, years ago!! Being from Sony, makes it even better! I have never had a Sony product, I have ever been disappointed getting!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice little Blu-ray player by Sony. It is super compact and lightweight and has a compact remote with a lot of different buttons. It is a great value with no compromise to picture quality. It has the option to plug a wired Ethernet cable into it for internet, no wifi built into this one unfortunately. Overall it's a great little player to play your DVD's and Blue-ray's with.
