To good to be true. Sony DVD Player for $40.00, it lasted 3 months and died. Buyer beware. Maybe that's why their return policy for electronics is 30 days.

This is the best DVD player I have ever owned. I purchased a HDM1 cable. It was so easy to hook up. I love the picture quality and the great sound with this set.

Overall it is a great DVD player, only caveat is that it DOES NOT include a HDMI cord which would make hook-up a breeze. Fortunately I had one, otherwise I would have had to make an additional purchase.

Slow response time when pushing buttons on the unit. Half the time I thought it wasn't working. Better response with the remote. It works....pretty typical.

I BOUGHT THIS DVD PLAYER FOR A FRIEND AND SHE DID NOT KNOW HOW TO PUT ANYTHING ELECTRONIC TOGETHER. THIS WAS SO EASY THAT SHE COULD HAVE DONE IT. GREAT DEAL.

Save your money for a better player rather than buying this piece of junk. Only played one disk out of seven or eight that I tried. Doesn't play blu-ray discs at all.

conveniently priced , i go through plenty of low priced players using them 24/7 good brand name sony im just playing my standard res dvds right now 🙂

Excellent little DVD player! Great picture and sound. Excellent value for the money. I especially liked the fact that it's 1080p instead of the usual 760 (780?).

Didn't work. Couldn't get the remote to work at all. Could not navigate the DVD menu. Once we got a DVD to play it would only play for a few moments and then go back to the menu screen. Returning it.

The details on this product do not say that it does not come with the cable to connect it. The cable has to be bought separately. The details need to say that it does not include an HDMI cable for installation.
