[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was trying to get a TV that would work with a Firestick. I couldn't get the Firestick to work with a 2011 LG TV. The Samsung was inexpensive so that was good. I thought the quality would be equal to or better than the LG but it was not. The picture and sound was inferior, in fact poor. The technology such as navigating through the menus was too frustrating to deal with. I couldn't get the Firestick to work, and that may be a problem with the Firestick. There are many videos on YouTube about trying to get the Firestick to work. I put up with the Samsung TV for about a week. I put it in a spare bedroom. I went back to using the LG. I considered Samsung phones to replace iPhones, but that would have created more frustration. Apple has made the phones increasingly difficult to work with. Tech is the most frustrating element of daily life when it fails to serve the consumer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the product was excellent but I did have an issue with brightness being too low when I was casting from my mobile phone. I later figured it out but it took a while to do so and it was confusing getting to that brightness menu while casting. Other than that, the brightness showed well when I was not casting. Contrast looked great and I had no issues. One more issue I had with the television dealt with system sound. For some reason you have to change settings to listen to listen to programming when you have auxiliary cord setup to an external speaker. After I changed the speaker output setting, I couldn't hear anything when I unplugged the aux until I changed the actual television sound setting back to normal on the settings menu. Mearly unplugging the aux cord did not automatically return it to audio from the television. I didn't use any security features so I cannot comment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the Samsung that I had to replace. I had it for several years until the picture went out. It was such a nice tv, picture, sound everything. I noticed as soon as I removed the new Samsung from the box it was cheaply made. I am not a fan of this new one. It has a long delay when using remote. Also it always defaults to a free news channel that blares when I turn it on. My past Samsung was not a smart tv and I used a Roku with it. Im starting to wish I purchased a Roku TV.
