I set it up in the living room, where I mainly use it for NFL games and movies. I have used it for a few Days now, and my first impression was it's like I brought the game inside. The setup process was easier than setting up a phone. From my usual seat, the picture looks like a front row seat to a boxing match with the size color and sound. Using the remote and navigating the settings has been very simple , and the built-in sound is an absolute plus. The thing that stands out most to me is definitely the size, because the picture quality but still slim. Something I would want another shopper to know before buying is although it is 98” it's fits nicely. Overall, I would recommend this TV for men who love games and families who love watching movies. So I decided to go bigger and came back with the 98 inch instead. The first time I turned it on, I was amazed. The picture is incredibly sharp and the colors are so vivid, it genuinely feels like I'm inside the movie instead of just watching it. Even older shows and lower quality content look so much cleaner now. As a gamer its awesome! Everything feels smooth and responsive, no lag, just clean gameplay. And when I want a true theater feel, I turn on Filmmaker Mode and it feels like I'm watching exactly what the director intended. I also love that I'm not stuck searching for things to watch. It seems to know what I'm in the mood for, and with hundreds of free channels and thousands of movies and shows built in, I never run out of options. I never need to go to a theater again. Everything looks so clear, bright, and detailed, and watching movies and shows on such a huge screen feels like having a theater right in our living room. I did all kinds of research and decided on this one- we were shocked at how light the tvs have gotten in 6 years, I could lift it onto our mount by myself! I'm very disappointed with the picture quality, especially in a dark room. Dark scenes look horrible with uneven backlighting, bright spots, blooming, and poor black uniformity. Adjusting the picture settings doesn't fix it. On top of that, it doesn't even include LG's Magic Remote—you have to purchase one separately if you want it. It also lacks Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support, which is extremely disappointing for a 98-inch TV at this price. Between the poor dark-room performance and missing premium features, I would not recommend this TV for movies or home theater use.
