We've only had this for not quite 2 weeks, and everything about it is top notch. Obviously, I will know more as time goes by; I do expect continuing high satisfaction! My take is that this is a truly excellent refrigerator. The only DRAWBACK is less than great information in the product literature and the owner's manual. Due to costly problems I had had with my prior one (from a different manufacturer), I was seeking a refrigerator that didn't require an internal water filter but could connect to a water source and make ice and dispense cold water. It APPEARS that that is the case for this LG product. However, it isn't clear how to set it up, without an internal water filter -- I found several different answers on that from different dealers and different on-line postings. The owner's manual says, "LG strongly recommends that you use LG-authorized water filters to prevent water quality issues, water leakage and appliance malfunction," but I could find NOTHING about what to do it if I have a home water system that will feed highly filtered water to my refrigerator. Thus I neither need nor want to install an internal water filter!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it! Large capacity and adjustable shelves so it can be customized.

I bought this four months ago along with a cooktop microwave double oven and dishwasher. The dishwasher leaks on the new wood floor baking in this oven is NOT the same seems like conventional baking is always on and removing finger prints is work. Plus you play hide and seek looking for serial numbers and model numbers. A company this big should be able to figure out a way to get the needed numbers on all that paperwork they hand us. Never again will I purchase LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love having a counter depth that still has the internal capacity comparable to others. That is what drove our decision to purchase. Was worried the freezer may not have much storage but has plenty of room.

I bought this for my new home. It looks great and has so much room! Despite being counterdepth it can hold everything and more. I love the water feature is inside. It allows the front to be much more sleek looking. I am very happy.

This is my first counter depth, French door refrigerator and I'm glad I bought it. The space inside is amazing, the bins on the doors will hold gallon size cartons of milk with room to spare. This is also one of the largest freezers I've seen which is always a plus. So glad I purchased it.

Our old fridge wasn't working well (different brand) and was causing our food to go bad very quickly, so we bought this one almost a month ago. So far I'm absolutely loving it! It's easy to use and set the temps, easy to hook up to the water line and keeps temperatures accurately. The only thing I wish it came with was a slider shelf for taller items but it's not a deal breaker. I really like how the water dispenser is in the fridge and not on the front of the door where it can drip down the front of the door. The ice maker keeps up with the amount of ice we need and is always full. I wish the ice maker came with an ice scoop but that's not a deal breaker either. We bought this and 3 other LG kitchen appliances the same day and we are very pleased with all of our purchases.

Fridge was delivered with one door lower than the other, read the manual on how to adjust with the tool provided but couldn't get it to even out. Put in for a technician to come out and fix it, got a call from the repair company that because it is a cosmetic issue, I would have to pay for the service call because it was past the 24-48 hour limit. I checked the paperwork, couldn't find anything stating that. As a consumer I have the right to expect that a brand new fridge would look like the fridge in the advertisements and on the showroom floor without having to pay extra for it.

ice machine and water is noisy! otherwise it' is a nice machine

Great counter depth fridge with smart features and ultra quiet!
