[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Website does not show any photos of top of fridge!  There is a box on top of the fridge that our cabinet doors will not clear!  If you have a cabinet above your fridge like most people, it will need to be high enough to clear the "box" that is on top of the fridge, right behind the doors.  Our cabinets will need to be raised about a half inch to accommodate this box so that the cabinet doors can open fully.  A photo of the top of the fridge would have been very helpful along with more clearance measurements noting what is needed for upper cabinet clearance to allow cabinet doors to open.

Looks great but after just 4 months there is a disgusting smell both too and bottom. It's been thoroughly emptied, and cleaned m. While it was being cleaned I put all my food into a large cooler. The cooler did not smell while the food was in it. After cleaning I put food back in and smell continues. This smell is the same as my last LG fridge that had a failing compressor (this was confirmed by a technician who cane to check it).

After a year with this fridge, I decided to share my experience. I really shopped a long time before deciding on this one, and I am happy with my choice. I had a noisey Frigidaire side-by-side with door dispenser for 17 years before this. Compared with my new one, I don't miss it. This one is so quiet I don't hear it running (my hearing is not great). I had to adjust to opening the door for water or ice, but the trade-off is worth it. The 26 cu ft space is amazing. I never struggle to fit more in. The smudge-free SS finish is surprisingly effective and very easy to clean. Also easy is installing, adjusting shelves, opening and closing doors and drawer, changing filters. I did take a while to adjust to the three-door layout, but that too was worth it. I will mention some of the negatives here, so you know I am sincere. It does stick out 5.75" past the counter plus handles (or the door bangs the cabintry). The ice system is slow and a bit stuck together. The controls are not easy to figure out. Despite these drawbacks, if a tree fell on it today, I would buy another one just like it.

We absolutely love this fridge! It looks great in our kitchen, and we just can't get over how much we can fit inside of it. I especially like that it's connected to the app on my phone so I get an alert when the door is accidentally left open. That's been very helpful on multiple occasions. I was really worried about buying a new fridge since it's such a big decision, but we really couldn't be happier!

We were looking for a refrigerator to fit into an odd sized corner nook and this unit turned up at an sale price. I was skeptical that a "counter-depth" refrigerator would ever hold enough of our food, or work as well as our prior refrigerator, but I am pleased to say it has checked every box I used to judge it's effectiveness. We also switched from a black, smudge-proof refrigerator to a stainless steel model. I was not hopeful I would like it as I have family that complain of the hand prints left behind after opening and closing their appliances done in stainless steel. After nearly 4 weeks of use I can solidly say I like it much better than the black refrigerator, and keeping the finger prints at bay has been no issue at all. I simple wipe the handles down daily as I always have and I don't have anything left behind. The refrigerator is quiet running, beautiful in it's new corner, and holds sooooo much more even though we only graduated from a 26 cu. ft. to a 27 cu ft. The arrangement is just what our kitchen needed to give me more floor space in just the right areas, and more storage space in others. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and would definitely refer anyone I know (or don't know for that matter) to buy an LG Counter Depth Refrigerator.

Overall we are happy with our refrigerator. It seems to be running very well and gives us the addition storage we desired. One think that is puzzling is the classification "counter depth." It sticks out about 7 inches from our counters. Either our counters and cupboards are smaller than most peoples or the label counter-depth is a misnomer.

I give zero. Purchased refrigerator and lines on back of frig sprayed water on wall and floor while admistering water from inside of frig. Ruined our hardwood floors. Lg response is they don't install water lines and are not paying for any damage. But they sell refrigerator with water features?? Ok

I love this new fridge! The space inside is amazingly large and easy to see things. The ice maker in the freezer is awesome. I'm still not sure about the filter though. Water tastes weird and I've emptied 2 gallons of water already. Might try buying a new filter to see if the this one just isn't good.

Great design, so much space for counter depth, nice deep veg and fruit trays, ice maker works perfectly, temps seem perfect, quiet. Water temp seems too warm, not as cold as water kept in jug in fridge. Maybe that is normal? Had to order second delivery because first one had surface defects on doors (small dots and a couple of scratches). But other than water temp, very happy so far.

Received in early September, so it's still very new. Not crazy about the freezer drawer, but I'm used to a side by side. I think that's more of a preference thing. Otherwise, so far so good. LG had to replace the air filter housing, but it was very simple and they proactively reached out to me about it. Definitely good cust service there! Hope it continues performing for many years to come (like my previous Kenmore).
