[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ben's Original Cups Roasted Chicken Flavored Rice with Carrots & Herbs is really good. I love the herb flavor, it's not too strong. It's easy to make, just fill it up to the line with water and microwave. The packaging is a good size too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would prefer the ben's original in the bag packaging instead of the cups. The cups take an additional 2 minutes to make than the bags. The texture and taste aren't like the bag rice either it has less flavor. Overall I think the bag version of Ben's Original rice is better than these new cups.

Ben's Original Chicken Flavored Rice Single Serve Cups are so convenient! You can't beat how quick easy they are to make when you need a quick meal or side dish. It only takes about 5 minutes or so (3.5 mins to microwave and 2 minutes to rest) from start to finish. The end product is tender, flavorful rice, in a perfect single-serving size. While I enjoy these plain, I also like to add different sauces to them if I'm in the mood for something a little more spicy. Would recommend.

For me personally the calories to protein ratio wasn't what I would prefer, but it just depends on what you're looking for! I'd also like more carrots to get some veggies in.

I took it to work for lunch. Was super easy. Just take the top off, fill with water to the fill line, microwave for 3:30 minutes and you have a delicious rice that I paired with chicken and broccoli.

Overall the taste is pretty good the flavor isn't over powering or overly salty. the calorie amount is also pretty decent for the amount of rice you get. it's great to use in a pinch when you're making something quick
