in our household we take two of the cups fill them with the chicken broth from a member's Mark white chicken in the can. 50/50 and then add water. butter the chicken prior to adding it to the rice . Stir thoroughly and in my case add canned mushroom stems., preheated with chicken and butter

Keep in mind that there isn't any chicken in this, it's just flavored. There is herbs and carrots as advertised though and rhe rice is solid, just let it cool down for a bit before eating.

We always have some flavor of Uncle Ben's rice in our pantry — a variety of flavors for a multitude of different dinners. This roasted chicken rice was by far a favorite — especially for my 4yo. Plus, the little microwavable cups are so convenient not only for adults, but for my daughter for a quick side to dinner! She loves to eat carrots as a side to dinner so when we noticed them mixed into her rice, she was definitely excited. The flavors were exquisite & blended wonderfully — no issues w/it being too salty or “herby” — literally the perfect balance. Will be buying more of these cups AND boxes of course!

No aftertaste or weird taste which was great found that issue with other brands. I love that it's easy to take on the go and throw away. It wasn't bad for the convenience of waiting longer for rice to cook!
