I'm not a huge fan of rice that isn't jasmine rice, but that's just my personal preference. Though it says there are carrots in here, I expected diced carrots, not tiny micro carrots.

Just put water to the fill line and microwave for 3 and a half minutes. I let mine cook for just a little bit longer. I added a minute because the texture of the rice wasn't cooked to my liking.

I paired mine with some baked chicken, and green beans.. it definitely added to the plate. The flavor is 10/10. It was cooked to perfection! I will be buying!

The chicken flavor of this variety added some richness without being too dominate of a flavor. I enjoyed mine with some chicken.

As a mom of a special-needs child, I am always on the go so whenever I get hungry and I need something quick to make this is 100% going to be my go to. I appreciate that there's no artificial flavors and no artificial colors in this rice. The packaging of the rice is small enough for me to take on the go to work. Overall flavor of the rice is very simple and not overpowering. I definitely recommend it for an easy meal!

It cooked easy and the rice texture was perfect. However, I didn't like the way it tasted at all. I felt it almost had an artificial taste and it was off putting to say the least.

Essentially the same idea as a microwave cup of mac & cheese - same instructions & type of package. It's a good portion size for 1 adult or 2 children. My whole family has been sick and decided to whip this out while making chicken soup. It's a good carb to replace noodles. However, I feel like the flavor is lacking. That's the only reason why I deducted a star. It's very bland. I do think this is wonderful for a lunch bag or as an individual serving. I wish the flavor was a little stronger, but that's just my personal preference. I do LOVE that it's gluten free!
